Ninja Run
Ninja Run turns off Combat Jumping, Super Jump and Super Speed. It doesn't affect Fly or Teleport.
It does stack with swift, hurdle and sprint.
I can see several players that buy this skipping travel powers because of it. I will on some character and not on others.

Pool travel powers (like CJ, SJ, SS) will detoggle NR. Passive powers, like hurdle and swift will work with it, as does Sprint.
It seems it won't be as quick running as SS, nor able to jump as high or far as SJ, nor should it. But it's a nice combination of toned-down versions of those that should make "natural travel" folks really a fan of this power.

Ninja Run + Swift + Sprint is putting me close to 53 mph. Capped Fly is like 58 or something, so that makes it fast enough to be worth skipping other things... for sure.
I do wish we could use those animations on SJ though.

on my super reflexes scrapper i have swift, sprint, quickness 3 slotted for run and hurdle 2 slotted my toon runs 74mph and jumps 63mph I love it.
I was making a new scrapper with no travel and just as I got him to 47 today I got blessed with ninja run. It's like it was made for this toon and released excatly when approiate.
Love this power VERY cool the flip rocks... and walk is pretty cool too all in all this booster pack is pretty cool love the new costume parts as well

I was seeing that with sprint and hurdle I was getting Ninja Run jumps at 46 mph. I know Mid's has no way of calculating it, so how would we see how far to the Ninja Run jump softcap?
I assume it would three slotted Hurdle, Sprint, and Swift. Not even considering Blessings of the Zephry et al.
I have a scrapper standing at Valkyre about to hit 14...so I logged. I don't know...I don't KNOW!
I'm unsure why ninja run disables combat jumping. CJ is no more a movement power than hover or hasten.
As ninja run doesn't detoggle any of those, nor sprint for that matter, why does it detoggle CJ?
oh, and Postagulous? At lvl 50 on my main, with ninjarun, sprint, quickness and swift, I run faster than capped fly speed by a few mph.

Love the boost to run speed and leaping distance, love the leaping animation, hate the run animation. I can live with it, it just looks really dorky IMO on any character that's not a ninja/martial artist. It would be great if someday we got selectable animations for this power - I'd love one that lets you run and jump like the apes in the most recent Planet of the Apes movie.

The question is, by using Ninja Run, can you hit those caps without outside buffs?
It's easy to figure out, though I don't have time right now to figure it, but all speed buffs are based on buffing the base speed, which for RunSpeed and JumpSpeed and FlySpeed is 14.32 mph.

I've wanted to be able to flip when I jump since I started playing this game. (heck.. actually it goes back well before playing this game... I believe it was a VERY old conan game I once played that got me hooked on the flip jump thing). I bought the booster and am bringing Shred Monkey (who has never had a travel power) out of retirement for this.... well, this and some PvP IOs that i've wanted to work into his build.

Yeah, I'm with you. Great travel power. Just enough to make not having a pool travel quite so painful. But the run (and idle) animations just look WAY too goofy. (Of course for some alts they work OK, just not many). It would be great with multiple selectable animations, under then, I'll likely give this one a miss.

On my lvl 50 DM/SR scrapper, got a speed of just over 60 mph. On my lvl 44 Claws/ELA scrapper, I got about 57 mph... had over 60 as well but pulled a slot out of both Swift and Lightning Reflexes.

Can it be combined with superjump to enjoy the animations? If not, is if effected by fitness? Moreover if it is combined with fitness could it be comparable to super powered run/jump?
