    beta access

do we now have beta access to see what Issue 24 would have been --have seen it posted a few times
and how do we get on ???
  2. 500 is a bit steep for a dog that has no combat use

I mean really spending that much on a dog that most likely will be licking its (you know parts) as I'm getting a Sky Raider rifle butt to the head -instead it should be tiring to defend me or "attack!"

    Now add some emotes
    fetch
    ball
    biscuit
    sit
    roll over
    paw shake
    CHASE CAT GIRL!!!!
    that might get me

lets all hope this will lead to a new power set with some kinda 4 legged critter

I understand your saying they have different priorities right now but perhaps that is a business practice that needs changing.
    but you forget one thing

test is really a ad for service to come and features to come

the main game server is really "TEST" and we pay for that?

5 years on this game and it has not changed --have fun

ohh by the way all the other MMO's do the same thing

    All that wasted free advertising

A good well done recording of any of these is real cheap in any format
  5. i don't care if they ever really do "free" again for server transfers

BUT!!! what is really needed is a better per transfer cost

because the new 19.95 sale of 10 per instead of 5 for toon slots

    makes!!

1 transfer at 9.99$ looks just stupidly over priced

suggestion do a 10 for 10 deal or a full day token of transfers for say 10 to 15 I will do but at 10 per 1 I'll never do it!!!!

  7. to start with this system was running fine at all times till just a month or so ago -
then one card otta of 2 failed both are ati 4890 cards one by his my main its 900mhz gpu and 1000mem the other is xfx at 850--975
the main one died then i limped one the other with no issues I could not play other games full tilt that's all
then the other died it was only 90 days old --i tested for issues found none and factory came back with a card failure
during this time i used and old 3890 x2 1 gig card to fill in for over a month while the cards went in for repair --during this i limped a bit on this one older card but COX ran
got #one card back 3 weeks back put it in and issues started with video crashes and such once and awhile but i did not notice any real big issues
then the other card came back and at that time since i was doing a repair i thought it might be time to reinstall all
so i reformatted hard drive reinstalled win 7 and updated all drivers and other programs to fresh
then the issues with this game and only this game started
I used to have the old installers all 3 for main --test--beta . then upgraded to the new installer about the same time i had issues if memory serves.
on the fresh in stall i installed only the new "installer" and main COX only --played like 3 times to get settings back to regular --then issues started with installer long loads m several minuets instead of seconds and hangs.
then crashes started as I played long and long more and more often
so I deleted the whole thing and started with the old installer only that killed the long load issues fully but the crashes via video card still there.
!!!!!let me repeat same system same cards new install of all win 7 and drivers = crash
tried this out 1 card at a time -crash
old drivers from last year -crash
    use non ultra settings -crash
    used "driver sweeper" during all
use old setting i wrote down for game -crash
load champions online (other game i play all fine on full no issues at all
load dungeon and dragons MMO with one card and 2 card crossfire full setting 6 hrs killer test to see what would happen ALL GOOD
tried to play today after the 11 hr down time cant even play for more then 10 min in any zone and i even used low! settings that the old 3890 card ran fine on!!! CRASH!!
seems to run in "safe mode" 800 by 600 yeech not going to play in that mode
need help here guys have been playing since Jun 13, 2005 non stop
I would hate to cancel because the game dropped me instead of me dropping it!

run down again full clean install all programs
2 new cards but! they are the same that ran before!
    new install of the game
setting even lower than an older slower card and nadda
rolled out new drivers --reinstalled old --used "driver sweeper" during all

    help

    second this idea

and since the subject of recording stuff is on the table

might i ask --even thou some of our good forum-mates have done it for us in the past at PAX and other events. That COX/ Paragon studios spend a bit of money on professional video post of such meetings (like a true big company would and should) instead of some what relying on its players to do so.

as a guy who used to do this for a job (AV stuff)-- its relativity cheap.

took note off calender to kick dev in balls at e-3 in June --but saved post-it note might need later the way things have been going
  15. my deal
team of 8 heroes no mix at all
    server virtue
    box in talos
whole team dropped at random doors in Atlas park
  16. if you got to atlas park to go after the exploration badges badge of "edge of chaos" awards but and its a big but --you get stuck in its room
    reasons
1 the vator going back to atlas park is for hero's only as it says so so as a (say it with me kids) "rogue" you can't use it

2 the port to recluse victory is closed too because (say it with me kids AGAIN) your a "rogue" you can't use it

3 the market porter's don't work at all there

and inclusion the only way out is ether to use a base port (if you have one -base port or base at all) and use one of your ports to villain side (if you have then)
or use Pocket D port (if you have it )
or an O port works (say it with me kids AGAIN "if you have one")

so dev's please send one month of free game time to this account for bug testing and finding or hire more testers

ohhh by the way can we get the descriptions of enchantments at the stores that used to pop up back after a year of them being gone (personal pet peeve there)

    and-----

But the auras look quite nice, so I'll probably buy this when I buy a copy for Kyo's account.

    like i said

"any other ideas besides picking powers that only need 1 slot???"""
  20. I love the idea of fitness finally becoming a inherent power and its still slot-able but I see and issue maybe with 2 powers almost everyone gets and most who do slot it 2 with two more per power there might be a slotting shortage with the ability of opening 2 other powers

ex old toon had heath and endurance with 3 slots each --said toon was slotted tight and used all for needed/wanted powers to be IO'ed with 5 to 6 slot IO's

now those 2 powers are free and need to be slotted with 3 slots to keep toon play balance as same -now you want to use those 2 new powers that became available with maybe another attack type power

whoops now your short say somewhere between 5 to 6 slots per new power for a total need to IO right of 8 to 10 slots needed

a fix of this maybe to start 3 slotting reward availability earlier than level 30 ish to level 20 for a fix or at level 40 slotting goes to 4 or 5 for the fix

any other ideas besides picking powers that only need 1 slot????

    c) I find the complete lack of any red-name response to the overwhelmingly poor reception in the official announcement thread, which reached over 1000 posts, very disappointing.

    d) I will not question anyone who buys this pack because they actually like the contents and find it to ba a good value to them.

    e) I think anyone buying the pack for any other reason is potentially harming the future of this game, by encouraging Paragon Studios to release similarly sub-par/overpriced boosters in the future.

    f) This will be the first in-game add-on (be it a boxed item or electronic add-on/booster) that the CoX team has ever put out, that I will not buy as a 75+mo vet.

    g) If I see another similarly sub-par/over-priced pack in the future, I will seriously re-evaluate if this game still merits my continued loyalty. At that point, we go from a poor decision (and response) to a trend.

Essentially, the composition/price of the pack was strike one. Lack of a red-name response was strike two. Another pack similar to this will be strike three. At that point, I'll have to decide if I'm coming out for another inning.

passing on this one --bought all the rest and 63 month vet

  22. power tray "slot" bug"????

have off and on issue and its seams to be getting worse with new update to COH

    powers trays sometimes stick

the power is ether clicked via pointer or in extreme cases numbers on main keypad above regular letters

    sometimes it goes away or
tray swapping up or down work to shake it lose or
I have to move the whole power tray one item at a time to shake it lose aka reassign them

    anyone else??
  23. humm pod person emote sounds really fun as Sierra Madre the city where " invasion of the body snatchers" was filmed at is right down the road and still has a large "pod-person population after 50 years (whoops wasn't suppose to say that)
I even have photo of me and buddies running down main street like in the film looking "like they are after us!!"
