to start with this system was running fine at all times till just a month or so ago -
then one card otta of 2 failed both are ati 4890 cards one by his my main its 900mhz gpu and 1000mem the other is xfx at 850--975
the main one died then i limped one the other with no issues I could not play other games full tilt that's all
then the other died it was only 90 days old --i tested for issues found none and factory came back with a card failure
during this time i used and old 3890 x2 1 gig card to fill in for over a month while the cards went in for repair --during this i limped a bit on this one older card but COX ran
got #one card back 3 weeks back put it in and issues started with video crashes and such once and awhile but i did not notice any real big issues
then the other card came back and at that time since i was doing a repair i thought it might be time to reinstall all
so i reformatted hard drive reinstalled win 7 and updated all drivers and other programs to fresh
then the issues with this game and only this game started
I used to have the old installers all 3 for main --test--beta . then upgraded to the new installer about the same time i had issues if memory serves.
on the fresh in stall i installed only the new "installer" and main COX only --played like 3 times to get settings back to regular --then issues started with installer long loads m several minuets instead of seconds and hangs.
then crashes started as I played long and long more and more often
so I deleted the whole thing and started with the old installer only that killed the long load issues fully but the crashes via video card still there.
!!!!!let me repeat same system same cards new install of all win 7 and drivers = crash
tried this out 1 card at a time -crash
old drivers from last year -crash
use non ultra settings -crash
used "driver sweeper" during all
use old setting i wrote down for game -crash
load champions online (other game i play all fine on full no issues at all
load dungeon and dragons MMO with one card and 2 card crossfire full setting 6 hrs killer test to see what would happen ALL GOOD
tried to play today after the 11 hr down time cant even play for more then 10 min in any zone and i even used low! settings that the old 3890 card ran fine on!!! CRASH!!
seems to run in "safe mode" 800 by 600 yeech not going to play in that mode
need help here guys have been playing since Jun 13, 2005 non stop
I would hate to cancel because the game dropped me instead of me dropping it!
run down again full clean install all programs
2 new cards but! they are the same that ran before!
new install of the game
setting even lower than an older slower card and nadda
rolled out new drivers --reinstalled old --used "driver sweeper" during all
help
