  1. Pool powers, both 3% defense I/Os, 3 slotted impervium armor set, a full set of scirocos dervish, and the ranged purple I/Os in total its like 37% and around 15% resist. I've thought about getting shadow meld to give me a little bit to take out any psi enemies. Oh and while it isn't a huge problem. Cascading defensive failure can happen, but an application of energy drain will normally beat the difference.

    Also, it is possible to beat the crash with dark consumption, it takes timing and risk since you need enemies around you.
  2. I have a DM/EA 50 with spring attack. She's softcapped in all areas except psi, for that she's at 37%. I slotted dark consumption and soul drain as attacks and she cuts through mobs like a hot knife through butter. Perma hasten and due to being loaded with the ato and several purple sets so exemplaring is pretty decent too.

    Looks pretty good. I played around with some of your slotting and it maintains soft-capped S/L/E with a little improvement, Recharge is the same.

    I don't understand building for End Recovery, on an elec it just is not needed, first you have conductive aura running all the time, Drain Psyche boosts recovery, and Domination fills your bar every minute or so, also when you're over the Static field it also increases recovery.

    Hi everybody.

    I posted this on the build workshop and got very little.

    So I'm giving it a try here:

  5. An interesting thing happened this morning.

    I found three paladins in KR at the usual spot and pulled 1. I had him basically dead when a brute joined in. (I figured it would take too long to solo all three, so I put out a call for an assist on help and broadcast) I was surprised to see it was going faster then normal.

    We went back to the pair and i pulled the second. a corruptor joined as the brute and i were beating the end sapped paladin. We aggro'd the third by accident. I had my gremlins out and went at him quickly sapping him as well, my gremlins came with me. After I smacked him around a bit I figured we should focus on one. I returned to the one my teammates were fighting we finished it off and I was surprised to see that not only did my gremlins maintain aggro but they also kept his end close to empty.

    Maybe that mischievous pair deserves more credit then they get

    Any opinions on taking subdue instead of mind blast and swapping the power selections of synaptic overload and psychic shockwave, 5 slot ps with purples and put the ATO in chain fences? Opinions?
  9. Hi everyone. I'd like to take another look at my Dominator overall I'm pretty happy with her. She can handle large groups, GMs and is a force in most situations. The one thing she can't face is AVs. I'd like to fit a ATO in there as well.

    The main thing I'd like to maintain is global recharge, in the current build she has perma-dom/hasten/psydrain without use of alpha.

    So any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

    Taking any one of them out defeats the whole theme. I'm also flavoring my ninja's as they aren't called they're made of the 5 elements as she needs them.

  13. I have a elec/psi at 50+2, gonna grab storm lore pets soon. In many ways she's a beast. I've soloed Kraken, babbage, paladin, adamastor, and both croatoa gms. Psi drains is perma but just barely. Incarnate trials aren't too difficult. But her damage is a little on the low side. Though my usual AT is scrapper, so my assessment may be a little off. Overall she can hang with the best of them.

    (Note on gms, I have pictures for proof if requested, but I'm at work so can't access them now)
  14. The Incredible Hulk is one of my all time favorites so I feel the need to weight in on this one. He's easily a ss/* brute. The more angry he got, the stronger he got in all forms (except that lame one were he turned back into banner). In the Grey and "Professor" hulk he was slower to anger but would still rage. For examples I point to the issue where Fixit "killed" the godling Glorian for messing with his mind and issue 400 where his anger over the Leader's meddling caused him to ignore Rick Jones and bring the house down.

    His declarations of being the strongest came at 2 times, after he stomped someone or when an enemy thought he was getting the upper hand. So in truth The Hulk actually got both stronger and tougher as he got angrier. But his mind has always been his weakness, though considerably stronger then most it was the most often way he was "beaten".

    For secondary he breaks a lot of rules. He has as said a combination of Willpower, Invulnerability, and Regeneration. True he had tough skin but his healing rivaled Wolverine's.
    I'd say fast healing, high pain threshold, temp invulnerability, iron will, tough hide, resist energy and elements, reconstruction, dull pain, rttc, invulnerability, instant healing, resilience, quick recovery. Hulk didn't crash.

    As for a build, he'd have capped health and resists, except for psionics, defense not capped but close, like 40% regeneration at 800% without instant healing. Perma'd dull pain and rage.

    A few notes: Currently I'm short 1 Hecatomb and both PVP IOs.

    1.) Her single target damage isn't great, I use TC->PsiD->MP->MB->repeat
    Minions I don't use Tesla Cage on and I kill them with 2 or 3 hits, 1 if Mind Probe procs, it'll kill minions and normally lts unless they're resistant to Psi. Bosses and above take some work but if you're soloing unless you get a lot of misses with Tesla Cage, you have no worries. AoE however, I normally start with either Static Field or Paralyzing Blast, settle into the middle hit Drain Psyche and spam CF->JC->PS-> and single target attacks dispersed through out.

    2.) I haven't tried ice so I have no comparative to go along with it, but as for AoEs, she can control multiple 8man mobs without too much difficulty. The debuffs could be nice, and I'm debating on taking Reactive for Interface to get some -damage resist.

    3.) see above... Since I made the build I assumed I'd have to either get enough H/VMerits to get most of them, but I've gotten some lucky drops and am considering putting Apocalypse in the place of one of the Decimations.

    1.) People who say "We need a [insert AT here]..." I've seen enough single AT TFs succeed to know that the only thing needed are players that know what they're doing.

    2.) People that refuse to invite Kheldians to their team just because they're a Kheldian.
  18. Ok here's the deal, I currently have 3 50th level scrappers with little to no sets or anything on them and I wanna slot at least one of them.

    They are:
    Ozmeth DB/WP
    Black Decker DM/Regen
    Desert-Shock Claws/ElA

    So if you get a few minutes give me a build or two, I'd like kind of an all purpose build able to dabble in large groups and AV killing... I do have access to more if I can get a few good builds.

  20. I'm gonna second Shred on at least two of those. Most of these changed their field or the world in some way.

    World of Warcraft really brought the PC back and MMOs into the mainstream.

    UFC, brought attention and credibility to the Martial Arts over all. While its huge for money making and drawing huge crowds for PPV and live, it turned the world onto the martial arts again bringing a few 1 season shows and specials: Human Weapon, Fight Quest, and Fight Science.

    Survivor, personally I hate it but it really opened up a new TV style which is likely here to stay. This also spawned shows like American Idol, The Bachlor, etc.

    Music, New metal is really the only music that sticks out, most bands nowadays are carbon copies of each other with minor variations. But bands like Linkin Park made a new sound that was all there own.

    That's all I got right now, some more stuff may come to mind later as far as best shows/movies/music/etc... to each there own.
  21. I took torrent on my DM/SR/Dark to give a nice space maker and that's really all its for, I hit the mob with Torrent and then hop myself into the pile of fallen bodies hit Soul Drain and back to work!

    Another thing I do that works nicely is hit Torrent at Point Blank Range and follow it up with midnight grasp... The MG fires off you see a nice stream of dark and immobilized enemy.

    Another note, if you happen to have only a Fake Nemesis and an Lt or two, taking out an lt will not give the Fake Vengeance. Like everyone else I try to take them out first.

    Truthfully that's probably only helpful when street sweeping.

    Got my Claws/Elec to 50 last week.

    I won't lie to you /Elec has a high learning curve, its tough and when you get a couple +def on you, you're near unkillable. So you are definitely good for teaming, and you'll have loads of fun taunting sappers [I was literally doing push ups in front of one after I had dispatched his bretheren] standing in CoS death end drain rings... good times!

    But its no picnic either... with just the +3% and Perf +10 I was able to clear a section of the wall in Cim and he may be able to handle a RWZ challenge.

    To put it in perspective I 'earned' all 6 debt badges but lvl 47.
