I think i'm the only one i ever notice from the forums while in game. Any of yous play on Justice?
In fact, the first time in probably 3 years I had someone recognize me - They said "I'm teamed with RagMan? Wow - I thought he just posted and played the market." or something to that effect. So I know how odd it feels to get recognized by someone other than the folks you regularly play with/see the most in game.

Whenever I play on my NcSoft character on test, people recognize me.
On the other hand, way back when I was grinding out a character to play on justice named Moderator08 most people had no idea who I was.

Given that "Organica" is a scrapper on Pinnacle that I never play, I don't think I've ever had anyone recognize me based on my forum name, nor likely ever will.
Not that I could ever be as famous as the Goat anyway! ^_~

I've run into Catwhoorg multiple times, and I actually teamed with Squez on a not-so-quick Katie, only I didn't know it until quite a while later when that character name appeared in a post (The Eutruscan Snood).
I've also seen Swellguy, but only because Squez invited me to a team.

I dont think I have ever run across any of the "regulars" that post here on this Forum except the Bunny and only becuase he was in his Bunny outfit.
Now that is NOT to say that I have not met other Marketers for transfers and exchanges because I have.

Outside of Catwhoorg, not mnay people outside my coalition can recognise the majority my character. There is the Shadowcatwhoorg, Cathwoorgshade etc who do have the name recognition.
More than once I have had a tell or local comment, wow so you DO actually play, I just thought you posted on the forums....
I still don't quite know what to make of that other than a /e shrug.

Thanks to this thread and the "release names nao!" thread over in general, I decided to actually LOOK to see if my namesake was available on Virtue.
It was. $10.00 later, Organica is a Virtue scrapper.
I played her on Sunday and went from 38 to 40. Picked up my new costume. I was shocked to realized I only had 84 badges on her... I thought I'd done more badging on my original character, but of course, by the time badges came out I was mostly playing my fire/axe tanker.
It's funny though, because I can remember hunting solo on the streets of Brickstown on the far side of the zig for days to gain a level. That was one of several reasons that I finally gave up on this character. I made it to 37 with a lot of grinding, and then eventually went back last year and played for a little bit on Pinnacle and made 38. Here I gained two new levels in a single day. (I did play a lot of the day, mind you.)

I have not played Captain Sammy much, and its not my 'exact' forum title, but have never been recognized. However, I do find myself teaming with people I recognize from the forums. It helps that I play on Virtue. (I am a native Virtuean though, not a transfer).
I know I have done several TF's with Zombie man, and I know I have had a few other "Hey i recognize them from the forums" moments, but cant remember who now.
The only people who ever recognise me do so referencing 'Lazy And Stupid.'
