Can you make a rolling Macro?
No, there is no way to change the function of a macro on the fly. Sorry.

Example: Macro set /macro ENTER <macro presses enter>

No, you can't do that.
However, you can make a rolling BIND, if you want, and bind it to a specific key.

I guess I will just have to start taking memory enhancing vitamins lol.
Thanks again guys.

Alrighty, oh well. I was trying to make quite a few messages for my character to say. I have some 30 messages, and want to make about 6 keys, but I wouldn't remember which key was which, at least with macro's they are named.

Option 1 - You can have up to 9 power trays on your screen so you could have all 30 macros up there at the same time if you wanted.
Option 2 - Have the macros in 3 consecutive trays but only have one displayed and use the right/left arrows on the tray to switch to the other trays.

The reason you can't set up a macro to call a macro is because it would enable botting, which the devs are very much against.
If it were possible you could set up a macro on autofire that ran through every attack you have, and you could just walk away from the keyboard and farm.

I know that this is necroposting to the max, but I never got a chance to thank any of you so, thanks. And yes, that's exactly what I meant. Except I want a "Congrats" "Thanks" "This is my Target"

Obviously the POPMenu wouldn't be rolling or dynamic though but at least can be organized.

It CAN be done!
As for the OP, I actually have a set of 53 insult taunt binds for my tanks. I recall someone coming up with a way to randomize them, but I didn't bother. 53 in sequence is good enough. Most of them are classic lines or stolen and modified jokes.
As for your 30 binds on 6 keys -- if you go through the trouble of making up 30 sayings and binding them to six keys, can't you go through the trouble to make a Quick Reference Card so you can remember what the keys do?

Unfortunately.. there is no real benefit to this (regarding using powers or inspirations), because it'll just act as if the code from the second macro is inserted within the original macro (and still only fire off one power, and maybe queue a second one).
In short, it works, but it still wouldn't let you bot, and it still wouldn't be dynamic like the OP seems to want.
As mentioned, the best bet for rotating messages would be to use binds instead of macros, as linked above.
Still, the linked thread above is one of the more flexible ways of varying/randomizing bind outputs i've seen, and it had been years since i read it, so i have a few alts that i may use that on now.

I would like to thank all posters in this thread for their help, the linked thread is close enough to help, and a cheat sheet of what binds do what might be feasible. I have alot of characters, so it might be a notebook, but... *shrug* Thanks again!

You should also check out this thread and this thread.
Forgive me for being fairly tech illiterate, but I've been using /macro "Slap" "e smack$$e slap" to alternate between the Slap and Smack emotes for a while, though I don't know how far outside that it can be taken. Also, we could be talking about completely different types of macros (if there are some, I don't know).
I know you can make a bind that replaces a previous bind, one that helps you say something different each time you press a button. However, I would like to do something similar with a macro, is there a away to use binds to make new macros?
Example: If I had a macro that says a greeting, can I make it say the greeting, load a bind that changes the macro so that the next time it says something different? Preferably three or more different sayings?
Thanks in advance, I did try to keep my post short but informative, this is my first thread.
