As for P_P's "player question" on the general discussion board, am I to assume that any sentence ending with a question mark doesn't belong here?

As I explained in one of the "RP" threads... we aren't role playing. If we were, we'd have characters, backstories, a story, and any desire to go anywhere. As it is right now, we're just finding a weird and fun way to express our excitement for Going Rogue.
I basically just take the statement "I think Praetoia will be cool" and prefaced it, jokingly, with "As a Loyalist". No one's actually "in character".
Edit: If We had made threads saying "Are you going Resistance or Loyalist?", the threads would more than likely have gone the exact same way. Only difference is first vs. third person.
The PvP Guide was specifically explained as less a guide than an invitation for PvE'ers to consider PvP. It needed to be here to serve its purpose.
"What could be in Issue 17" is standard speculation.
And... *clicks second link* ... Seriously? Someone saying they don't want a gun set goes in "Player Questions" because they phrased the statement as a rhetorical question?
I think that the forums are exactly what they need to be right now: A bumpin' and happening place to be.

Truth be told, it took us a long time to get P_P to STOP putting that kind of thread in PQ, because it really doesn't belong there.
Like Marcian said, just because it has a ? doesn't mean it belongs in PQ. Especially when the point of the post is to guage others feelings.
As I'm fond of saying, and others have begun to mimic, it's Player Questions, not Player Rhetorical Questions.

Honestly, the last few days in the general discussion section has been more active and vibrant than it has been in a long time. Does a player saying he supports villain side instead of heroes make him a roleplayer? Nope. Does a player saying hes going to be a loyalist [the RIGHT side
] rather than the resistance mean hes roleplaying? Nope.Also imo, open ended questions which can be turned into discussions do belong in this section too imo
If these threads werent here, there would be . . . . 2/3 threads active?

The Roleplaying forum here is actually a pretty specialized sort of place, and doesn't see a lot of the type of RP that has appeared in some of the GR threads.

That makes us ALL roleplayers then, since your playing the character you made in a certain way that makes you a roleplayer Also since you joined a supergroup that makes you roleplaying into their specific style

We have discussed this subject to death and even roleplayers say that true roleplaying is having a back story, character, settings etc NOT what you describe ]BTW im NOT a roleplayer and i 100% dont see this as roleplaying, i see this as players having "friendly banter" with eachother.

Ok i have just actually viewed all the links here and i have to say . . . . take those away and your left with WHAT exactly? The GD section would be dead if it wasnt for these type of threads! The large majority of those belong in the GD forum imo and if the large majority of us thought otherwise then we'ld mention it in our post!
Remember about a week ago there was a new poster suggesting a new powerset within the GD section? The people that replied, said nicely that the suggestions forum was that way. Not in ANY of the threads you mentioned is there a large group of people saying that it doesnt belong here.

Perhaps I'm just being too nitpicky, or perhaps the Going Rogue frenzy has combined with a Halloween candy sugar rush and made everyone a bit loopy.
I am not trying to come down on anyone in particular about these problems, it just seems a little humorous how disorganized things have become on the boards, just within the past week. I blame full moon fever, GR hubris, chocolate overdose, or something
