Where's Dominatrix In All Of This?
I hope they don't change it! I like that there's this darker side.
It's a teen rated game, stuff like this can be discussed in teen rated movies, I see no reason this game has to be any different.

In that case, my guess that her mother rejected Tyrant after he killed Recluse, and married someone else, which produced Domi, and then Tyrant got into a relationship with her as a way of getting back at her mother, and being with the likeness of her mother at the same time probably won't happen - looks like the devs want to keep it as gross as possible

You seem to be skipping a generation in there. Tyrant would have been rejectd by her grandmother not her mother.

Oops, yeah - skip over the middle generation then
Her daughter wouldn't look so much like here, but her gandaughter would look almost identical - which would be why Tyrant would start to take an interest - it could still work - although it seems they are going with the incest stuff anyway

I do find the idea that they didn't think of the connection while writing Dominatrix's bio only to have it pointed out by people on the forums quite funny.
I imagine someone at the Paragon Studios (then Cryptic) office did a massive face palm when asked who was to blame for this?
Oh and Silver Mantis really is more than just 'suggestive' the entire fight with her in the STF is a bit of an 'wah?' moment if you actually read the text. Considering she's never, up until that point, said stuff like that in any other encounter...

All of SM's (Coincidence? I think not) text is 'suggestive'
Heh...didn't realise it was all suggestive...
Man that girl alone really pushes the boundaries of the T rating on this game doesn't she?

Also it's sucha small part of the game, that it doesn't make that big of a deal in the whole scheme of things.
Look at some PG movies that have said the F word (Spaceballs comes to mind), though if they said it every other word, it would be PG-13 or the more likely R rating (though when they say it every other word, they're generally shooting for the R rating).
Again, this is movie wise. Maybe Teen rating for games mean 16+?

I think we're 16+ now, because CoV was 16+, and both games have been merged, so the higher rating probbaly is the default one now.

I think the will play up the granddaughter aspect, and skirt over anything else.
Reason being, I think they may want to pick up the story from the comics, and have that character go Rogue.
I would make for a more interesting storyline, and a major character motivation, if her loyalties where to become split between both versions of Marcus Cole.
I really should do something about this signature.
Actually, they did, or at least Manticore did. I still cherish the memory of people pointing that uncomfortable conjunction out to him after the comic issue came out. His response was something along the lines of (paraphrased from memory), "Oh, jeez, you're right, she is. Aaaaaacccckkkkk. I just creeped myself out." I don't think he was indulging in sarcasm, either. It just clean slipped his mind.

"I wish my life was a non-stop Hollywood movie show,
A fantasy world of celluloid villains and heroes."
I like to believe the incest was worked in behind Manticore's back and then everyone waited to see how long before he caught it.
Taboos against incest are taboos, i.e., irrational reactions. Now, there are good reasons to prevent incest in most cases, but because they make someone feel 'icky' is an awful reason on which to base sexual ethics. (That's why there's been centuries of repression against people with sexual identities and practices outside the norm and why 'ickyness' is not a proper gauge of ethics.)
Most people will explain that the 'ickyness' comes from the idea that incestuous relations create genetically malformed offspring. Well, that is false. It is inbreeding over many generations where there is a genetic disease that is the problem. A lineage will need new blood over the long term (or create pressure for those with the genetic problem to opt out of creating the next generation). But in the short term, two healthy siblings or closely related mammals (including humans) produce healthy offspring.
The real ethical problem of incest is the problem of coercion. In sibling incest, it is usually the brother forcing the sister into sex. In parent-child incest, it is the parent exerting either physical or psychological pressure to take advantage of the child. Coerced sex is always wrong. And incestuous relations are almost always coercive; and even if they're truly not, the danger of it being coercive justifies a standing societal prohibition.
Where incestuous relations could be condoned is if the closely related members are both adult and were not raised in the same household. That is what justifies marriages of first cousins (still allowed in some states and normative for most human cultures). However, if they were brought up as brother-sister in the same house, then that would be highly discouraged.
This all brings us to the curious case of Tyrant and Dominatrix. Being his granddaughter, it is possible that Dominatrix grew up in a different household where Tyrant was not providing primary care (he was out saving and subjugating the world). She may have only seen her grandfather at state occasions. Being immortal(-ish), Tyrant retains the appearance of a man in his 30s. Dominatrix has grown up to be a woman in her 20s and has gotten to know her grandfather by working for him in the government.
*Psychologically* they may never had a parent-child relationship. Thus any relations between them is not from Tyrant using his grandfatherly sway to convince his granddaughter to 'serve' him. Since the relationship may be truly consensual, then there is nothing ethically wrong with it.
In fact, since Tyrant is a god-like ruler, almost any relationship would be ethically suspect that he's using his status to impose himself on a woman. However, given Dominatrix's strong personality, and the hint that she is the pursuer in this relationship, it ironically turns out that a relationship with Dominatrix would wind up being the least likely psychologically coercive relationship Tyrant could have.
Of course, I've presented the best-case scenario. It could be that Tyrant took care and coddled Dominatrix like she was his own daughter and she grew up under his care and he's a big lech who couldn't wait to abuse his relationship with Dominatrix and exerted all the psychological leverage at his disposal to groom her to be his sex toy in a relationship that started when she was a minor. *That* would be icky.

Related to Zombie-Mans post, the Egyptian Pharaoh's used to marry within the family to maintain the 'Blood of Kings/Gods' and suchnot.
Also, for all we know things could be retconned slightly. The Identity of Ms Liberty/Dominatrix is the important thing...not the person themselves. As in, it will still be Domi, but it might be a different person.
I'm just gonna wait and see, personally. Safest bet.
(No, kidnapping Manticore and forcing him to tell is not safe, even for a stealth operative like me )
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Also, am I the only one who thinks she deserves a cooler powerset than Gravity? Throwing furniture at people is just odd (especially when you're outdoors) and now that there's going to be a whip animation...
