Things you've never done

Hmmm, 60+ month vet and the things I haven't done. This could be a long list.

I've never done the Manticore TF. I've completed the other 5 'main' TF's (some of them more than once) but never a Manti. And as a result, I don't have TF Commander on any character.

I've never done any of the Shard TF's.

I've never done a Villain SF. I ran the first villain respec trial a couple of times (one success, one complete utter failure) and simply gave up on them. Not worth the headache one idiot can cause.

I've never finished the STF and have never tried the LRSF, ITF, LGTF, or the new 5th Column TF's. Been tough for me lately to commit to doing TF's because of some real life matters that need my attention quite often. I'm someone who actually won't make teams sit and wait on them. If I can't be there for the whole thing, I won't waste their time.

Never done the revamped Hami raid. Used to take part in the old-style (blue side) raids quite often.

Never purposefully unlocked any contacts villainside. It's happened before of course, but I've never gone out of my way to unlock them.

I've never created a character without a travel power. To those who do, you are far more patient than I am.

Never been able to find the "path" in Terra Volta to get to the reactor with a Super Speed character. Even after watching videos of others making it and actually following more than one person there. I just forget since I don't run the respec trials often. Thank heavens for the safeguard jump and fly packs.

I've never launched a Warburg rocket. PvP is just not for me and I avoid it as much as possible. Though I do go in for the the badges and the temp stealth powers on most of my characters. And on that note...

I don't whine about being attacked or defeated while badge hunting in a PvP zone. I knew the risk, I decided to take the chance anyway. If I'm attacked and can get away, I do. Otherwise I just let the other player kill me and continue on, after rezzing at the hospital.

I've never role played any of my characters, though most of them have some sort of back story to them. If I don't have some reason for them "being", it's hard to stay interested in my characters.

I've also never had any problems with Role Players. I've teamed up quite often on Virtue and have never had any of the outlandish, over-the-top RP'ers that some people have mentioned. Maybe I'm just lucky as I'm sure there are some extreme RP'ers out there.

I've never soft-capped my defenses on any of my characters... yet. I have a Night Widow that I hope to someday cap, but that's a long way off.

I've never broken 400 million Inf on any character.

I've helped defeat every named GM in the game except for Caleb and the Arachnos Flier. I've never even seen them. (aside from screenshots and the Flier in Mercy and in the Talos safeguard)

I've never gotten an Invul Tank past lvl 20. Though I have a lvl 50 Ice/SS and a lvl 50 Fire/Fire tank, and two lvl 35 WP tanks, one Stone Melee and the other Axe.

I've never gotten into Fire/Kin farming, even though I have a lvl 50 fire/kin. I got to 50 easy enough, and got some 'good' farming missions but just can't stand the actual farming part. I prefer my Fire/Fire tank for farming. Not as fast of course, but a lot more fun for me.

I've never hosted a costume contest, though I've thought about it a few times.

I'm sure there are other things, but at this point I'm really grasping at straws so I'll stop here.

Mostly due to network lag issues:

Never successfully completed an ITF
Never successfully launched a Warburg missile (always lagged to death when the ambushes show)
Never seriously attempted a redside Hami raid (poked my head in to watch once; got the Base Teleporter power to fire before I crashed completely)
Never attempted an STF
Never attempted an LRSF
Never attempted a Barracuda SF or Kahn TF
Never productively assisted in a mothership raid
Never attempted a Justin Augustine or Faathim TF

I haven't published an AE story arc yet. I have several thought out and more or less written in my head, and they might even *not* be total junk. I just never seem to get around to it in-game.

Never seen Hamidon, or fought most of the GMs.

Never have, and never will engage in PvP. (I've gotten Shivans on one character. Never again.)

Never have, and never will enter any PvP zone besides Bloody Bay. Seriously, now that they've changed the Villain Accolades to *not* require PvP badges, there is *nothing* in there I want enough to convince me to go in. Nothing.

Never done most of the TFs. The few I've been on were mostly because I happened to wander through the zone as someone was looking for more for a totally random pickup group.

Never gotten a Defender to level 10. (I've tried several times. I prefer to solo, and Defenders don't do so well. I'd rather spend the slot on a character who doesn't feel like they're trying to beat their foes to death with a dust mop.)

Never played a Tanker. I'm already pretty certain it's just not going to work out.

Never played any form of Kinetics character. (If I did, it would be for the sole purpose of *not* taking Speed Boost.)

Just wanted to say this is a really interesting thread and commend the OP for injecting a fresh line of thought/discussion here.

There is a lot of content to do. Although, I'm not that interested in specific content nowadays. Just want to play, try out new powers, try to be the best that I can be.

Things I've never done:

Never gotten a villian to 50. Closest is 45.
Never gotten a kheld past 25 or a controller past 30. The others I've gotten to 50.
Never done the last 2 SFs, not even sure which they are.
Never done the LRSF.q
Havn't done the new fifth column tF or SF
(sorry for odd typing, have a little birthday girl trying to help me type)
Most PVP stuff I havn't done.
Havn't published an AE arc yet.
Don't have a MSTF badge on any of my characters yet.
Don't have empath on any characters yet (my empath main is 74% there)
Don't have anyone fully slotted with IOs yet. No, I'm not kidding.
Never done a new hammi raid, despite beign a regular at the old ones for a while.

Haven't done a Dr. Q yet.
Don't have a fusion generator in my SG base.
Have no purples slotted in any character.
Haven't launched a Warburg nuke yet.
Never gotten over about 35 million inf on any character.

• Received the MoLRSF badge.
• Leveled a Blaster, Tanker, Warshade, Corruptor or Mastermind to 50. Most are only a few levels short, but still not 50.
• Never unlocked Doc Buzzsaw.
• Still missing most of the Ouroboros badges.
• Haven't gotten the Field Crafter accolade.
• Missing most of the AE badges as well.

A bunch of stuff that I can't be arsed to list. On thinking about it, surprisingly more than I expected.

played a stalker past 14

Never completed a villain respec. (only done 1 heroside, ever!)

Never played a stalker past level 10.

Never did Cathedral of Pain.

Never defeated Caleb.

Never made a 2nd build.

There's only one thing gnawing at me:

I've never completed a Sewers Trial, at least without using the old exploit.

Another thing I'd like to do is to defeat someone in a PvP zone. I'm 0 for about 5, usually I disengage quickly when attacked.

Some of the other things I see listed, like doing all the Kheld arcs aren't on my to-do list.

60 month vet, and only things I haven't done are the ITF, LRSF or the new TF, been invited many times, but I seem to have no interest in doing them.

the only thing i can recal never doing villainside is cathedral of pain, but of course i didnt start playing till after it had been turned off.

heroside theres still many things i havent done, mostly because i really dont like playing heroside, zones are way too big, tfs are way too mind-numbing and get boring very fast because all the heroside tfs seem VERY ladden with "defeat alls" so i havent tried many of the shard tfs, the only shard tf i ever did was faathim.

Most of what I haven't done, I don't want to do. (I may yet play a Controller past level 14... but villainside.)

I haven't collected the set of villainside GM's.
I haven't purpled out any characters.
I haven't made a spectacularly tough tank. (I might try Stone now that it can be colored.)

Never did the Calvin Scott TF, CoP trial, or the old Hami raid (those were all removed from the game or changed before I started playing a few weeks after I9 dropped). Other than that? I dunno. I've soloed AVs and GMs with no temp powers on a variety of AT and powerset combinations, but I've never soloed a Rikti pylon in the RWZ. I'm sure I could but they give a crappy reward even if you mow them down quick.

I'm a 63+ month vet and I have never:

- Leveled a tank past level 10.

- Leveled a kheld of either sort past level 25.

- Done a villain side Hami raid

I like to do all kinds of stuff and I am usually up for trying anything once, so my list is pretty short. However and list of things I will never do AGAIN would be much longer.

* Have yet to kill Caleb- in fact, I've only seen him once (he looked angry =/)
* Have yet to take down Lusca, the Paladin, or the Kraken, too
* Haven't yet run Viridian's Conference Meeting, although it sounds hysterical... I think he's unlocked, just haven't done it yet
* Haven't been able to finish the TV, because... RADIOOOOOO! Free Opportunity! I mean, how could I turn against that?
* Haven't done a Villian Respec that hasn't made me want to stab my eyes in and then pry them out with the same stabby-tool
* Never got up the nerve to publish an AE arc- too shy
* Haven't gotten all (possible for that faction) Day Job badges on a single toon (although I think I have all of them just spread out)
* Haven't done any Trials but both side respects and a failed Sewer attempt
* Haven't done much of St Martial- did Hard Luck and Basse, but I don't think I did any of the others... I want to do at least Johnny and the Slot Machine, one day
* Haven't done Socc or Ghost Widow's patron arcs yet; wanted to leave my favorites for last
* Haven't done a few 'essential' Hero arcs... Freaklympics, any of the Tsoo ones, the Library of Souls, Indigo's, and all the 45+ hero arcs (save for Vanguard ones)
* Haven't finished either the Stiga Isle or Crotea storylines- maybe on my next hero

I'm sure there's more, too... which is a good thing. Lots more to see and do.

Most of the stuff I haven't done is Red-side. One of my regular buddies never wanted to play villains, so we didn't. I have finally started playing some on the Red side, and finally have a mastermind up to 46, Brute to 32 and a Stalker to 32. Some of the stories are quite fun, and there are a few maps that are different. The Television arc was really quite funny -- just did it for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

• I have never done a Strike Force of any kind.
• Never defeated any GMs Red side.
• Never gotten any character over 300 million Infl, Red or Blue.
• I have finally done 3 of the 4 Shard TFs, but still have one to go.
• I have never taken one of my characters all the way through the Rikti War Zone content.
• My highest Kheld is 45, but mostly got there doing the non-Kheld content.
• I have never "purpled-out" any character. I have the Confuse set on several characters, and then a few of the Hold or Immobilize purples, but that's about it. The few damage set purples I have gotten were sold.

I think I'm at 51 months right now... And as for the list of things I've never done:

*Haven't defeated Caleb
*Haven't ever had a proper PvP build (this will change when I have spare inf and no other projects to spend it on)
*Haven't ran most of the redside story arcs
*Haven't ever done an enjoyable Posi TF :P
