Well it's now 10:30 am central time. I'm getting double xp, but my two friends here can't get in yet either. So the reactivation time is probably set to the actual time that the event starts. Just a guess.
i never really messed with these reactivation weekends, so i dont so much know how it works...
i know someone who hasnt played the game in like 2 years... can she reactivate??
*edit* i should say download all the updates and then play and not worry about paying for time.

The other aspect is that accounts in 'good standing' are reactivated.
I dont know if the 2nd account for the OP falls into that category or not, but over the next 4 days I am sure someone will post who is in that category, and it is rather an important caveat.

Is it normal for double XP to start a little early? It was quite the pleasant surprise to play last night and discover that I was already getting double the XP (especially since my playing time this weekend will be sadly limited)
Do they usually begin double XP weekend Thursday night, and I just didn't notice before?

As for the exact time it starts, it is generally announced for noon but it NORMALLY starts early - at whatever time the servers come back from maintenance.
