I noticed that there's a Status Icon now when Gaussian's Chance for Build up fires!
Also, while playing a Mayhem mission the water spray from a destroyed Fire Hydrant has a water gushing sound now too.

Thanks Devs!

Anyone else notice stuff not in the notes? (Well, other than the return of the Fifth Column to the streets.)

Did they say in the notes that your level is now visible on your XP bar? Because that was a great one for me, no more checking personal info to see what level of character I was playing

It isn't only Gaussian. I saw icons from decimation and souldbound procs as well

Here's one a friend mentioned and I'm noticing now that I know about it. There seems to be more freedom of movement of the ragdoll physics on the human skeleton's arms and legs. I watched a defeated foe's arm swinging over a ledge, and watched an Arachnos Wolf Spider roll down a ramp with a lot more socket rotation to the arms and legs (they moved less rigidly).

This. I noticed and thought I was seeing things.

Let's see, some hostages now animate differently while captured, Vahz zombies now do the Frankenstein shuffle and mobs carrying orange body bags now toss them on the floor before attacking.

In addition to the many obvious changes to the difficulty slider, one that may go unnoticed is that there is no longer an inf cost to fiddle with it.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Next logical step will be to put it on the Menu similar to "Arena".

This used to happen. Or it happened sporadically. I think it was always supposed to work like that but there was a bug in the animation system somewhere that prevented it from happening reliably.

I also have noticed that all of the quick jerky animations have been fixed and a bunch of the mobs have new idle animations too. Yay for the devs!

Midnighter doors now have the map name above them

The more people I meet, the more I'm beginning to root for the zombies.

Wasn't it introduced with i15?

The game seems to work with Vista a bit better now,
I no longer have the cursor issues in the enhancement screen.

Yes, it was.

Twice now I've seen an odd thing I think is new. I think bodies are "twitching" while their lying on the ground after being defeated. I saw this in an arachnnos mission map and on the streets witha council that had just been beaten by 5th.

Anyone else?

Yes, I think that's part of the effect of having the limbs having more freedom of movement. I notice it as well, especially when the body is on uneven ground.

Another new sound effect is when using the Holiday Cheer temporary power on another player you hear bells jingle now.

When you enter the main building in Grandville, the statues of the four patrons now have their symbols on them (the ones that appear when you use their patron powers). Which I thought was a nice touch.

And once again, random dialogue has been improved throughout the game. War Witch must have the coolest job in the world - "Hey, WW, write some snarky comments for those Crey standing around Primeva!" "Hey, WW, we need Arachnos commentary on lookout in Grandville!" "Hey, WW, give us random Hellions sounding INTELLIGENT for a change!"

While beating up one of those Master Illusionist cookies (or rather the pets she kept summoning), I noticed that her attacks weren't breaking me out of the /e newspaper I was using to amuse myself as I waited for her to call in the next batch of Illusionists. Being attacked while emoting would always break the emote, but apparently that's not the case anymore.

Maybe it was a bug, but if not, then this is huge. Probably even game breaking. If it was indeed an exploit, then I'm boned because I was reading the hell out of that newspaper. If they take away my Illusionist badge though, I'm quitting and heading straight for Super Mario Brothers Online. If they didn't want us reading the damn newspaper, then they shouldn't have given us the emote in the first place.

Larry: Owen, what the hell did you do to my wife?
Owen: Well I don't want to say on the phone - all I can tell you is that I killed her last night.

This came to my attention because one of my favorite characters sports this badge -- they've FINALLY capitalized Untouchable!

I've seen a large number glitch every once in a while in the past. I don't know why. I would have liked being able to set it to the large number on purpose permanently... and now it has become the norm! The only problem I see is that the number isn't as large as the glitched one I used to see. lol

Hey, I noticed they fixed something that has been bugging me since Issue 3!

Spectral Knights now disappear on defeat, like Spectral Demons, rather than having the suit of armor hanging in space with their arms up in a screaming action.

They fixed all the teleport animations too.
