Won't be able to make it tonight. Having some issues on my end. I'll be within level range for next week.

Who do I have to *&^% around here to get more Targeted AoE recipes added?

Team "Defender City" had a pretty good run last night: started with Striga and ended in Croatoa. If I had been a little more coordinated, I would have tried to get everyone to start the first Hansen arc, as I was only a mission or two in... oh well. We made it through both of their arcs (I'm guessing I'm not the only one to get the Slayer badge) and started up in Croatoa before I had to leave.

We did pretty well... not the fastest since our only damage was our Warshade for most of the night, but we were safe with all the shields we had. The one notable exception to this was towards the end when Major came dashing in to a mission against Tuatha. We were split and fighting two mobs at once... and I think being a Shield Scrapper + hitting a quicksand patch + having Defenders that were too busy to buff made him faceplant rather quick. Sorry about that, Major.

Defenders are kind of like Tanks, in that they use a lot of endurance... it takes a lot of attacks to defeat enemies. Both ATs really should get some kind of an end reduction all the time. And even with a bunch of resist debuffs going, my Sonic does not kill very fast... adjusting the damage up wouldn't be that overpowered, would it?

No doubt the Defender superteams out there would steamroll even more, but soloing or without a lot of buffs, it kind of stinks doing damage with a defender. We didn't do too bad with four defenders (five at the end... leave it to me to grab another defender from the team that was breaking up), but I'm sure we would have been going noticeably faster with a bit more DPS on our team.

Team Hamster finished off Lars and his brother, ran a few missions from Indy Port contacts, then merged with Team DC. I have the Mysterious General Z skyraider arc open, going to continue on with that next week.

Looks like target level is 29.

DC wants me to kick Flux from the sg.

Hmm.

Since I'm feeling a bit grumpy, I'll feed the troll.

If DC feels so strongly about this, I believe he has the SG rights to kick, if not the stones to do so. (See, I know how to troll as well.)

I was under the impression that this SG was put together as a way for people to team together on a weekly basis. With the advent of SSK'ing, I'm not certain how anyones toon level is all that relevant other than for the purposes of mission sharing. As anyone who has run in Iso's previous incarnations knows, mission sharing is very unreliable at best.

I'm not going to beg forgiveness or apologize for playing the way I feel like playing. Every level this particular toon has gained was done during regular team nights or during SG sponsored TF runs.

This is the last I'm going to post about this.

However, if it is that big a deal, feel free to kick me. I'm sure I can find other things to do on Wednesday nights and other people with which to team.

GG, Ham. GG.

Tag along, Flux, we've had plenty of lowbies join in... it's not like Isos is that hardcore or anything.

And I'm skeptical of whether DC even said this. Ham likes to make things up to add flair to Victory. Or drama. Or something.

In short, take nothing seriously here... it's just a game, and there is a lot of joking going around (and opinions that really don't matter).

Was on team Ham last night. I think I was going for a death record. LOL

No matters, it was fun and Ham got to use his mutation power... often. I think at one point he set it to just autofire on me since I was bound to be down looking at insects when it was recharged.

SSK'ing and the lack of hazard zones is one of the reasons why I'm not as terribly annoyed by your rampant cheating as I would have been during previous ISO runs. However, I still would like to people stick with the average level just for consistency. When I did the TF's, I did it with xp exemped disabled.

I will freely admit that I said this. I find it fairly rediculous that, at the start of the night last night, we had the almost standard 1-3ish folks +1 to the target level (simple, understandable), but we also had someone +5 to the target level.

The idea of Iso's that I have seen since Iso 2 was that folks level together and stick together. There's already been one instance that sticks out in my mind where someone was kicked for being +2 (or more)to the target near the end of an iso run (freely admiting going into RV and working ahead), and I merely pointed that out to Ham last night.

The 'disable xp' buttons are there for a reason; even more so with SSK. Failure to use them in the right circumstances should be... inadvisable.

Couldn't someone technically take a L50 and play it for Iso's the entire run now? There is no reason to get one's panties in a bunch over this anymore. It's not like people were on his team fighting +5s because of it, or he was fighting greys because of it.

To me there is a far far greater tragedy here.. Team leads that pick missions that make us want to scream. That is a good subject to discuss instead. Thankfully I haven't been on Team Short bus yet this session.

But then on the extreme:
Let's have everyone on random levels! New characters every week! All level 50's! I'm remaking as a level 2 for next week and we're all going back to the Holllows!

Ah, I thought Flux was way behind or something. But still... a bit too much drama over this.

I seem to recall having this discussion during last session. A little variation in levels is one thing, but the whole idea is to run it through together... or as much as we can. So I like having the level range... it makes sense.

Cool with me, I missed that arc.

I really preferred the weekly threads to these massive diatribes.

Sifting through the drama is bad enough, but going through weeks old drama adds insult to injury.

I actually kind of like the one massive thread. That could be because I subscribed to it and set my bookmark to the User CP page. Quick easy way to see right away if there's been any new posts in certain threads before I get down to Victory forum.

What, no Warshade? How will we go on? The team of Defenders isn't as cool without a Warshade to trick out!
