There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. The only downside is that I now have to make a seperate forum account for my other account.

*edit: but I do like the new copy tool, much easier to use. And i don't have to hit back 50 times when i want to copy more than one at a time

I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this, but I have a character named Texas' Justice but it is showing on the Character Copy page as Texas\s Justice.
I've queued him up to copy over to Test just to see if it's working, but I'm curious how the Character Copy will handle non-alphanumeric characters in the names.
I'll report back once I see how, or if, he transfers over.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I've come across a strange bug. I recently downloaded the Test Server to try out the new update and once I had logged on under my account a few times I decided I wanted to copy some of my characters to the test server.
Today I changed my account's password (I was confused about what I needed to do to copy characters) and I noticed that when log into the normal CoH servers I have to use the new password but the Test Server still uses my old password. After I had changed my password (and before I noticed this oddity) I tried to copy several of my characters to the test server. I just went back to check and while the character names no longer say "queued to copy" they are still not on the test server.

Sorry I can't be more help on the character copy tool; the thing is apparently a pain in the neck for many people (I seem to get it whenever it's up, myself).

Thank you very much for your response. I saw a post on how the Training Server was out of sync shortly after submitting my previous post. After my password went through I tried again and the copy worked. 
It even copied the two characters of the same name from different servers correctly.
Anyway, thanks for your help.
Anyone else having the copy problem again ?
I have been trying to get some toons to test for nearly a week now. The tool says they are copying but they never arrive.
I'm having the same problem. Been trying to copy an alt over all weekend and no luck. Tool says it's in the process but character never arrives.

The tool has been restarted and is now processing requests. Let me know when your characters have been copied over!

Been trying for several days and no characters have transferred to Test.
Some of you have noticed that the Character Copy tool has undergone a few cosmetic changes.
It is now part of the forums and is available at the bottom of the Development section. The previous URL will redirect to its new location but make sure to update your bookmarks!
Please do let us know if you were to encounter any issue with it at all so we can get them taken care of as quickly as possible.
Also note that it recognises your account and will only give you access to the list of servers corresponding to your territory once you have logged into the forums.
