Let me clarify that Cat (good point), all AOW Events list the Grand Prize, so second place finishers will be getting up to 4 Billion, 3rd place 2 Billion, 4th place 1 Billion, but 5-10th place will get up to 500 Million.
AOW as a sg already banks a lot of our drops and infl. to help each other and support events so we already have the prize money for this event, it will go on and we hope you all come out and enjoy yourselves.
Since it is on our anniversary we will be also holding other events as well, but this is the main event.
AOW members may compete except for the 2 hosts William Alexander (The Founder) and Felecia Divine (Coalition Manager).

Thank you Dave, other events scheduled for the 13th are 50 Million CC with 3 categories (main event grand prize 50 million), (best under level 20 for 25 million), and (best bio for 25 million). there will be a 50 Million PvP Event and a 50 Million Gladiator Tournament. As with all AOW events there will be prizes for top 10 finishers. Times for these events will be added soon in this thread and at (all-out-war.guildportal.com).
The CC is going to replace the regularly scheduled Monthly CC. This means instead of the first sat. of the month this one will be held on the 13th for the month of December, then after this event starting in January first sat. of each month the event will become the AOW MONTHLY 50 MILLION CC instead of 25 Million which we currently hold each month.
Also we will add a RWZ RAID (Rikti Mothership Raid) and a Hami-Raid to round out the days events.
For sunday Dec. 14th we will hold an all day GM Hunt.
This is lots of notice, so make those wonderful costumes of your dreams, prepare for pvp, get those gladiators unlocked, get teaming and remember:

Ummmm, no on the AOW member on each team, the contact has a password at the end and the team leader will send me a tell giving me the password to indicate they have completed the mission. The event is to get ppl to work together on 8 man teams but if 6 works better for you or 1 then so be it. This is a speed event so we will not slow them down, we want the teams to be at their best.
There has been a question as to why we announced this so early....this is so teams (vets) can have fun trying new team make-ups and builds and have fun figuring out what works best for them. This also allows people time to build up their favorite character with IO's, Accolades, and Temp Powers. Also this allows NEW people the chance to learn and compete with the big boys.
Heh, this thread should be epic by the time the event rolls around in...3 months and 12 days.

Opening it to other servers would be interesting. If they were willing to accept the influence on champion server we could end up with hundreds of teams competing

Interesting points, you guys keep misunderstanding me and you call it drama.
The event is AOW because this is the organization hosting it.
The long wait time is to allow new people and vets plenty of time to work out a fantastic speed team.
As for the ticket thing, i had not thought of that, and it is irrelevant since the mission will be deleted at the end of the event (this is not for tickets or glory or devs choice). This is to create a new fun event people can look forward to and build a better team, group of friends, and a bigger better sg.
Miz Nibblez also pointed out that this event is way to far off so..............
AOW 800 MILLION AE CHALLENGE is scheduled for Oct. 11th at 7 PM EST. Same format as the 8 Billion Challenge using the same test mission as a guide (this is a guide and not absolutely needed to win the event) ID 309894.
AOW has ALWAYS put on fun and fair events. This event is for you to enjoy
(Trust me, i would love to step down and compete in this, but someone from AOW has to host, if another sg has the infl. it wishes to share and wants to run this event let me know)
