1. Click on the down arrow next to the bolded text on the thread title.
2. Probably not
3. [url
="Your url here"]Your text here[/url] (just take out the smiley 
4. I've found it to be quicker.
5. Yes you can, by unchecking "Show Signatures" under the thread display options under settings & options.
6. Game password and forum password appear to be the same.

Actually, as I understand it, the _NA and _EU designations are for people who had name collisions when the two username domains were merged. I thought I read somewhere that they were going to work on it, but I don't know what they're going to do. You might lose the _NA whenever they figure it out.
Edit: Yup, here's your European couterpart: Quinch_EU. If you want to get rid of the _NA, you have to seek him out, kill him, and deliver his head to NCsoft as proof. (Or you could just wait and see what they have in mind...)

Yes on the old forum i was logged in automatically when i entered forums......NOW i have to relog everytime i go to a different page in the forums. VERY annoying. Plus no links work anymore....its like the forums died and went to hell.

Can I somehow see signatures AND any images that are in the body of a post, but NOT any images which are in the signature (yet still see either signatures with no images or all of all sigs minus the images in them)?
And is there a way to do that URL thing which doesn't involve manually typing out the BBcode?
The 'down arrow' thing is too damn fiddly IMO (tiny little thing to click as opposed to the whole thread title...I'd have thought the other way around would be wanted more, but I may be wrong), but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

2. Yes. User CP > Edit Options. Scroll down to the very bottom and look for "message editor interface" dropdown. The one you want is Standard, which will give you the hyperlink button.
3. I agree about the down arrow, it's too tiny for me but I'm getting used to it.

[EDIT: For now, the only way to get rid of images in signatures is some form of adblock, which I've been using liberally. The downside is you still have to load the images the first time, and everything has to be adblocked separately, but at least you'll only see it once.]

The url in the middle of the tags will be highlighted, so you can just type, and that will be the link text. If you highlight some text before clicking the button, the url tags will be placed around the text you highlighted, making it the link text.

You can get rid of the background pic of States and LR if you have an add-on with your browser to block images.
I use AdBlock with Firefox and that background pic was the first to go. Now I'm blocking 98% of sig pics.

Ah gotcha. I hadn't messed around with the settings because I don't mind images. Thanks for clearing that up.
its very hard on the eyes. i have a hard time looking at it for more than 5 mins at a time.

The code doesn't look terribly difficult to do manually either.
Meh, not really impressed with the new boards. Eventhough the tools are a little better, I find it very user-unfriendly for finding topics quickly... not to mention how UGLY it looks. *sigh* Maybe I'll get used to it one day. :/

It's really annoying, that pic. Pointlessly makes the forum smaller. It's especially irritating on my iPhone.
On another note, I can't seem to find oiut how to do the thing with the URLs. I can put a URL in, but where's the bit that lets me display the link as 'link' for example, not 'http:??blahblah'
I've tried using the standard editign thingy and the enhanced wysiwyg one. They've noth got buttons for adding a URL but the window that pops up only has the URL field.

I haven't had to re-login since logging in yesterday when the forums came up, but a lot of people seem to be having issues with it.
I'm on Firefox 3.5.1 on WinXP if it makes any difference, but I don't know.
