New World Alliance
Oh I definitely be for it, Edward has always wanted a proper 'sinister six' style organisation if only because it makes spreading chaos that much easier...

A real showstopper!
I have a villain and possibly a new one which would be happy to join this as he is the sort who wants to cause some choas and do some harm along the way as well.
Both my villains are affiliated with previously mentioned groups, but would be willing to join individually if their VG's don't. The idea of a group of supervillains/villain groups banding together for the greater evil is always an awesome thought.
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
I'd be up for that with my Main Villain, Lykofos, the leader of the Rogue Syndicate.
so this is not a reworking of the LORDS ..?
if you looking for the other up and coming villain talent i have a suitable villain ..
LORDS was/is very much the kind of villainous organisation that works behind the scenes for further goals.
The NWA, if it's headed by Mechano, would be much more of the overt kind of villainy one would expect of a James Bond villain, armies of trained agents in snazzy outfits out and secret volcano lairs with many, many doomsday devices!

My evil characters and myself would quite enjoy being a part of this in some way as I've not managed to see a huge amounts of RP goings on outside of Pocket D since I've rejoined CoH.
Bah, none of my existing villains would fit in. I can always roll a new 'un, though, right?
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."
Stuff
My villain fights for whoever pays the highest =D
Hmm...
The only villain I have who would come close to fitting in would simply wait until they were all in one room and then rad them six ways past Hell and back, leaving a pile of sub-atomic mush
Yeah, Lord Atom ain't a great team player XD
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Toxic Weaver would be interested in this. She's still loyal to Arachnos, but that doesn't mean she gets to have fun on the side and keep them out of the groups hair by giving assurances that Project Pompous Title will not be delayed due to the groups activities, oh no, far from it.
My main Villain , Blood Ghoul, is currently building his base(( more a lair )) and gathering his adherants (( ok slaves )), sounds just the sort of project he would like a slice of ...he is more monster than super villain , but he knows when not to bite , and does keep to his word .
he is in the handbook ..basic write up ...currently lvling a MM version ..((plotage gathering the troops))
Tomb/Sarah is always looking for way to expand her business.
Battle Unit Omega would be interested if it involved ideals relevant to the interests of the TLF..... or killing lots of magic users.
Baron Eternity would be there if free drinks and women to hit on were available.
Brawling Cactus from a distant planet.
Could someone possibly explain to a roleplayer new to the Union server what exactly this would entail? I've been looking to get my Villain involved in some RPing, but I've been seeing no indication over in the Rogue Isles.
Depending on the situation I'm not quite sure he'd help you out, but you never know, if you give him something he likes to do he just might do it.
Dominating characteristics (*chuckles stupidly* he he he, he's a Dominator) include wishing to manipulate people just because he enjoys it, and the desire to kill all people with psychic powers (excluding himself). And no before you ask he's not read your mind psychic, that would make his manipulation no fun, he's more make your brain go "BOOM!" psychic. He also has Gravity Control over Mind Control, which despite me heavily regarding it as a mistake, I'm slowly making my peace without it. (Not to say that if we were given the option to re-choose our powersets I wouldn't jump on it)
Bad Voodoo by @Beyond Reach. Arc ID #373659. Level 20-24. Mr. Bocor has fallen victim to a group of hooded vigilantes who have been plaguing Port Oakes, interfering with illegal operations and pacifying villain's powers. He demands that revenge is taken on these miscreants and his powers are returned! You look like just the villain for the job. Challenging.
I've been getting lots of really good questions so far and the answer is best given by example. Imagine twenty leaders, villains gathered around a huge table, most of them representing a larger organisation. What are they talking about? I don't know, but they're probably planning how to 'improve' the whole world as they see fit, most likely through brute force, hostility and chaos, probably because it's the quickest method with visible results. That would be forum or supergroup base RP. In-game wise, we're looking at major zonal PvP like old times, task forces and lots of MA arcs with custom villains. Plot wise, the more members the better. Like the very funny TV show Pinky and the Brain, one day the NWA are on the streets 'eradicating' psychics. Heroes foil the plan so the next day, they're back 'exterminating' magic. They may try something else the next week, like an army of uber-trolls or the traditional doomsday weapon launch straight down to the subtle extreme like a hostile political takeover. Hope that gives you a good picture of whats possible.
Kallandra is always looking for new and interesting ways to create some amusement for herself.. If it involves hurting others or learning new skills she's all up for that. IC she's hanging around alot with Sarah/Tomb, but works part time for Erebus Industries who are a very small organisation dealing with 'aquisition and distribution'..

I think I understand...kind of. Well no, I really don't. I've grasped the concept so far, the idea of villains up to no go, a monkey could do that. What I'm lost on exactly what this would entail in-game.
You mention major zonal PvP, do you mean a bunch of PvPers getting in one place and killing each other a lot. Because that doesn't really sound fun.
Taskforces...those are the series of missions you can't leave right? (I r teh newb)
MA with custom villains, aren't we the villains the players though? Why would be fighting other villains. Obviously there are uncountable reasons WHY a villain would be fighting another villain, after all there are more "evil" enemy groups in the Rogue Isles than there are "good", but surely if we're nefariously plotting and stuff, wouldn't heroes be trying to stop us?

Basically it entiles RPing like the classic villians of old, Think Lex Luthor and Cp sat around a table asking how we kill superman.
In game that translates to IC meetings, missiongs/TFs which simulation us carrying out/setting up.Heroes foiling said plots.
As for me, I can think of/roll a Villia or two who might be interested, or I can Have Varrick show up to help smooth things over with Arachnos and continue his own evil schemes.
Hey there Reach, welcome to the Union Universe. Thanks for showing interest in the NWA, you have got the idea so far. As for zonal PVP, in roleplaying terms, it is what I would call war. That's the simple description. At the climax of a story, when the hero has all the information and he's certain that the villain is responsible for that awful genocide, he will chase after the bad guy. The bad guy might turn around and whack him, they get into a fight, repeatedly knocking each other out, back and forth trips to the hospital until one side retreats, decidedly dies or gets jailed. That is RP PVP. It's not for everyone, but it is fun to watch or do, especially when there is plot and reason for the battles. Lastly, mission architecture with custom villains. As in, our own villains drawn up and written into our own missions. In plots designed for heroes, they would be the enemy. For us, they would be allies. Hope that answers your questions. Oh and yes, task forces are a series of special missions with special rewards, designed for a fixed team.
Hmmm...only annoying thing, for me, is that any sort of plot like that would instantly earn the distaste and dislike of the Krimzon Guard. However....PvP for them wouldnt be possible anywhere bar Warburg (same side as the Villains, obviously)
Or Arena, sorta...
Still, interesting

Overall sounds like an average night for me. But seriously, sure I'm up for it.
Also, welcome new person who I may/may not have met yet. (Delete as applicable)

Gotta love dem dere RolePlayers
I am 100% up for this, I have been struggling to get back in the game latly, and really struggling with role play for quite some time. But now that my main villain has been altered quite a bit from her origins I think she would fit in with this, also I would like my secondary villain in this as well, if thats ok. Only because they hate each others guts and would be as much trouble to each other as they would to the heroes, though I do predict a lot of infighting anyway so might change my mind with this. zonal rp PVP though is something ive never done though so would be a fun new experiance.
In short, yes I am very interested.
The end is just a new beginning, Goodbye all my coh friends and even the enemies, its been a blast I will miss you all. Thank you Paragon team, you gave me a home from home I will always appriciate it.
Enerfist fits the bill for this nicely; he is a clone of (the now deceased) Joseph Infinus, corrupted by Recluse. He believes himself to be the true Infinitron and what was Infinus as a clone knocked up by city hall to cover up his defection. Introducing him into this world would be brilliant, he has the tech skills to create elaborate weapons, and the whole working with Doc Mechano will throw up some interesting RP for Ed - considering this is essentially the man who tried to kill him and who Ed ending up killing.
Count me in.
I am thinking it would be completly up to Elizabeth Bathory her plans (and through her the LoRDs) to keep tab and a finger in an organisation like this. Meaning I would like to enter a suitable (ex) courtmember.
Will have to see who then though.
I have a toon that is strong willed and can be fitting. Name is Marie Laveau and like Elizabeth she is a historic person. She is a court member but is able to hide her true alligence very well. Smart and access to magic. A VooDoo houngan and Alchemist.

I remember not too long ago when Dr Mechano called together a few of Unionverse's major villains in an attempt to unite forces. Mercenaries of the Corporation were there, monsters from the Court of the Blood Countess were present and even the thugs of The Gang showed up. It didn't go down too well and if I recall, it was mainly due to Pistol's arrogance. Go me! Anyway, I enjoyed the roleplay and the concept of an alliance among major villain groups and their leaders could do a lot for creative storytelling. So if we put aside Pistol and her characteristics of failing alliances, would everyone else be interested in this idea? A big fat collection of our various villains teamed up IC, helping each other reach their 'shared' goals. Opinions please. Especially you Mechano.
