I love St Patrick's Day. The pub 'round the corner is a good ol' Irish pub. Yesterday, they weren't allowing anyone in if they claimed to be Irish, and anyone with green eyes got a free beer.

Are you actually being serious? lol In no way shape or form do those acts represent or have any thing to do with st patties day. To even think for a second that someone would connect it as having anything to do with us as a nation worries me greatly. I'm ashamed to call myself irish to be quite honest if thats what some people think. (and i live in northern ireland, but im not particularly politically strong minded except when it effects me.)

Nah, it just sucks how Scotland, Wales and Ireland all get days off on saints days, and England doesn't. Im quite patriotic, so I think it's a crying shame, dontcha know?
