I agree with TresCool - they are useful powers at low levels, when you have fewer attacks.

So - any other ideas for a 45 month vet reward?

[/ QUOTE ]

Just off the top of my hat.

An extra costume slot.

+ 10 extra salvage slots.

+ 5 extra slots in wentworths.

green/yellow line teleporter.

Mystery gift , would work just like the mystery gift you get at christmas only it would give a random item like a recipe or special enhancement maybe even a huge inf boost or a bar of xp.

Well I like my suggestion in the other thread...

but failing that, how about a B17 and enough bombs to carpet bomb the mission map into oblivion?

Seconded!

Or Warhammer from Call of Duty 4, for those who aint played it, its the gunship from the beginning of the new Transformers film, and if else, a AC-130A gunship. I just want a legitimate reason to say "Bring the Rain!"... and not have fire-blasters going crazy!

Salvage / wentworth slots might not be a bad idea...

How about a .45 pistol? A med/med recharge ranged attack with chance for knockback. Just a thought...

That's crazy talk!

Some sort of minor AoE power which puts them out of the fight for a few seconds would be nice.

Where as I like MA's idea, I would actually like to see another costume slot. The AOE would be cool though.

I find the temp powers excellent in the early levels and, actually, great through out the game. What about if they 'gained levels' at certain vet rewards, so 45 months could see a boost by adding 'virtual' enhancements in to them at certain levels.

As for the 60 month reward.. lets see, something so that the players can show off?

What about a giant inflatable phallus.. as a pet. It follows you around everywhere but seams to have a mind of its own.

I have one of them already, gets me in enough trouble as it is without a second one tagging along.

Hmmm I like the idea of an AOE attack even if it doesn't do wicked damage.

But my vote goes to Extra cossie slot!

I'll sign that one.

Property prices in Paragon City, probably already rock bottom, would plummet even further with Heroes constantly calling Spectre Gunships to flatten objectives.

I15 - Civil War. Fifth Anniversary of Paragon being bombed. Civilians finally get sick and tired, and all hell breaks loose as super powers are lumped in with aliens/mutants/magic and the like. Boom.

I would love a civil war (ish) development to the CoH story after all were all currently registered wheres the heroes that don't want to register or the villains that refuse to make there selves know in to recluse

Im still waiting to see what the 'Rogue' system will/might be like. (If they do do it) Not everyone is a really clean-cut Hero or Villain (Like in the Mac ad ) in fact most of mine really aren't. My Crab Spider, who should be one of the more evil, is more like a military police officer, certainly more so than the RIP.

Anyway, OT, yes. Geef us our shiniiies!

Now I don't post that often so when i do i like to think it counts.
Some very good suggestions i like the Wentworth slots but one that may have been over looked. Powers of good instead of destruction... A Heal Other vet reward would help in two ways. During low lvl missions when powers are limited and also for those badge hunters out there who really can't work the healing power pool into their builds.

You know, a vet healing power would be nice. Allowing us to bring 'support' to the people

One I thought of while raining fire and hot lead on people last night;
Hover-pack, similar to the jump pack from the GvE edition. Except it can run ad infinatum, like a true toggle.
Semi-travel for low levels, and a boost for things like hover, SJ and Fly. Even TP and SS.

The Vet heal power sounds good too mind =]

I like that idea it could even be used to cover a few vet rewards for example 45 month permatemp version of aid other then later on a permatemp version of Healing aura to avoid the aura being over powered it could have a interrupt time similar to aid other

Apolgies if this has already been suggested but I tend to drift away from the game for some months and it takes time to catch up.

Anyway my suggestion is for a special respec - which allows you to change powersets, but it can only be used on old charcaters - say that were created two plus years ago, and cannot be used on any character at lvl 40 or greater.

Its just there to deal with two things:
1) those character concepts that didn't quite work, you got them up til late 20s or early 30s and still found them lacking

2) Intro of new powersets - for me I have a BS/Inv Scrapper Lvl 27 - I now come back and find the Shield Powerset which is something I think would suit this character better.
