I can't seem to get day jobs working. My character is standing in the PPD station in Kings Row, no day job icon. Took him to the base portal, no day job icon. Took him to the train station, no day job icon. Took him to a different zone to try places there? No day job icons.
Try turning off hide auto powers. I seem to recall during the testing that these were hidden by that toggle.
I don't hide auto powers anyway. I just logged in on my Elec/Elec Brute who was stood atop the Ferry in Cap Au and somehow got the Smuggler badge for logging out in a store. What? Doesn't really make sense.

60 mill!!!!! was your base just full of salvage racks or something as we have ton in are base and i doubt that even all sold together it would make 60 million.

I guess I am the only one who thinks that having posts about I14 and even I15 the day after I13 is launched means I13 is quite poor overall, despite some efforts to put lipstick on the pig.

Depends which posts you mean; there don't seem to be any of them at all in this thread, and the only thread I can find in General Discussion refers to I15 and was started before I13 went live.
There are some I14 threads in Suggestions, but then again it's hardly surprising suggestions will be pitched for future releases.

That's either a badly written description or a bug. Getting the badges from the Ferry and the Black Market gives you the accolade - heroside, it's any store and Wentworths, so they might not have rewritten the desc text properly.

Enjoying it so far - new characters, new powers, new journeys to enjoy.
My only quibble is the fact that I've already got 2 bars of double XP whilst still in Breakout!!!
Want an option to turn that off that DOESN'T stop me from earning NORMAL XP

Underwhelming afaik.
BIGGEST BIG issue ever turns out to be two new powersets, QoL tweaks and a horrid new pvp system.
While nowhere near a hardcore pvp'er I enjoyed about half my game time in pvp zones and arena. And PVP 2.0 is far worse than I feared. I still fail to understand how that abortion is friendlier to newbs.
And beyond that I have little or no interest in MA. I pay for someone else to create the content.
Shields and Pain Domi are shiny but I just feel very little interest in re-subbing.
They took too long to get it out and now the buzz is gone,all a bit "yeah....and?"
Hope the mission creator is great in issue 14 otherwise it's gonna be a long wait till something new and exciting hits.
The new booster pack is gonna be magic based,will probbly have a free trial to WoW the way they are stuffing the swords n sorcercy into this game,roll on the 5th return in issue 15.
I love watching the Xmen films,specially when Professor X hits the villains with a broadsword and then uses his shield to protect himself.
Don't know about the X-Men movies, but having seen Xavier battling on the psychic plane, his form often goes towards a gladiator with gladius and shield...
Having said that, I'll reiterate my opinion about this issue: meh.

I like Issue 13.
Shields are a nice addition. So is pain domination.
There were loads of moaning people wanted shields and empaty for villains, now that we got em, heh, there's moaning it's too much world of warcraft and it's not really empaty for villains blah blah blah.
There's a ton of shield options, and you don't *have* to pick broadsword or battle axe, or mace with it...
I made a elec melee/shield brute, and picked the electrical shield. so it looks like she projects her powers of electricity to shield herself from harm with it. She does very much not look like a night elf warrior...
I mean ffs people... the devs put down alot of heart, soul and hard work into it. The shields and such look fabulous. All the little details and so on.
Sure there's a load of bugs, but they will be fixed, most of em aren't that major, but just annoying.
Sorry for the angry tone, but it really does tick me off seeing so much negativity. Even if you don't like the stuff they put in, you don't have to go "whaa whaa it sucks", "meh". Is it so hard to say "Ok, this stuff isn't for me, but cool beans anyway"?
Apparently so i spose.
Oh well, just had to vent a little.
I for one welcome Issue 13. I'm having alot of fun with my new shield chars and all the other little bits.
Do i wish there was more to it? heck yah, but i'm more than happy with what they gave us. Mission Architect is next, already sketching on some mission arcs of my own and i'm looking forward to see what people create with it.

How did you manage to get 60 million for them?
Convert 40 of them into 1 bit of random Arcane salvage - for every Magical Conspiracy I got, there was always a Deific Weapon to compensate

I kind of agree with Sapphic, it's nice to have additions to the game, especially ones that the community have been clamouring for (supposedly). However, with VEATs being moved to i12 and the MA being moved to i14, it's left i13 looking a little empty after a lot of build up. For me, it's all a little underwhelming but I'm sure some people are going to get a lot of fun out of it. So far, the badge interface is my favourite feature, neither of the new powersets appealling to me.
Personally, I really wanted Pain Domination to be more aggressive using powers that would take pain from your allies and transferring it back to your foes. Kind of like Dark Miasma but more focused on healing than debuffing. Ah well, tis not to be it seems.
However, the biggest disappointment is the Merits System. I was very excited that they were going to introduce rewards for story arcs and GMs. But given that they only drop on the mission arc owner, the outrageous prices from the vendors and the fact that they're not transferrable between toons, I am very, very disappointed. This change has pretty much killed the Invention system for me. A good idea, but very poorly implemented.
So overall i13 = overall poor. Some really nice ideas but not well thought out. A shame really. Roll on i14 please.

so to sum it up then, there is a part of i13 that we all like about. you may not like all of it but as long as there is just one thing then the devs have succeeded. I for one love the new costumes, the powers the free respec especially :P the devs deserve a pat on the back. well done on another fantastic issue! keep em coming
