I think there was talk of it being the 4 day easter long weekend but I may be mistaken.
I totally can't wait to not sleep and play videogames again.
I spoke to Rockjaw at the Con in Birmingham in May and at that time he was pretty sure (I seem to remember the word 'booked' floating around somewhere in there!) that Omega Sektor is on for the Easter weekend of 10th to 13th April 2009!
Edit: And yes, the Elflings will once again be in attendance to totally show everyone how not to do a Task Force

I'd keep that weekend free if I was you. (Said weekend being Easter 2009.) More than that I can neither confirm nor deny.
Just FYI, unlike this year (when the event wasn't confirmed more than six weeks out as we didn't have it confirmed ourselves!)... assuming it happens... we'll be making sure you all know about it nice and early.
If it isn't confirmed more than three weeks in advance, I will find NCSoft and beat them with a nerf stick. I have to book time off that far in advance, and really do not want to miss this one.
I'd play Rock Band, but my vocals are amazing... I murder even the softest of songs. :P

I shall look forward to it with baited breath, and scrimp and save every penny and pound ready for getting up there, getting a hotel room and staying for the whole duration. And y'know, getting some sleep and something better to eat this time. After my first period of proper sleep dep, I think I knew how an Elude'd SR scrapper feels.

Just going to point something out. It's on the Easter weekend, including the Friday and the Monday both of which are bank holidays. Further, that weekend always falls during the Easter term break for schools, colleges & universities.

Gah, I have 2 words for you Tellis...Personal Best..:P..I was surprised we managed to finish Positron in the time we did There will be an even bigger Elfling presence this time around, and if the rules for TF: O are revised so you can actually do the cursed thing AND enjoy the rest of the event (so glad I didn't miss the chance to chat with War Witch, but it still felt a little constrained) we'll be strutting Elfling stuff on all manner of electronic goodies
Cant see them putting Rock band back in the box....in fact I'll bet they have Rock Band 2, seeing as last time around it was an exclusive acquisition.

hate to put a downer on things but after todays news I doubt this will happen -_-
Okay, so maybe it won't be an NCsoft organised event, but why in the world would that stop us, the Players? I assume everyone who went last year plans to go next year, so why don't we just all pile up there and make it a player-run event instead? We've been shown the way by the Community Team, it should be easy enough to follow in their footsteps as that very community.
