Would a discount work, given the inf paid goes to a player? Or did you mean a discount on the listing fee?
Edited spelling. -
/suggestion
Instead of a pointless (opinion based on experience) teleport power that's barely going to get used, why not instead replace it with removing the consignment fee for transations for as long as the logout effect is active? -
Using second account before it goes the way of the first.
Doc, thankyou for the art. The face is what I see in my head, exactly. Wonderful job.

Without being able to peer into the near future and seeing for certain, I'll be going. Being ordered about and getting almost no gaming done was too much fun to miss out on again! Seriously, I had too much fun. No, really.
Maybe next time I'll have more to say for my introduction than a single sad sentense. *facepalms* Ugh...
Edit/note: I'm using my wife's forum account btw, my main account is still inactive [rant] thanks to every gaming retailer in the entire city of Bristol NOT carrying NCsoft game time cards, yet ALL carrying NCsoft games. [/rant] -

((I'll definitely show up if time allows it. Might be slightly late depending on the situation. One problem, however. Ray could never make himself to follow a dress code like that <.<)
[/ QUOTE ]
((Then you aren't getting in, I'm sorry. We're willing to make allowances for people merged with armoured suits or whatever, refusing to dress up 'Because it doesn't suit me.' isn't good enough. It'd be the same at any private function in the real world. Sometimes you just have to swallow that stubbornness and play ball.)) -

((Quick question. Why not hold it in the casino in St Martial?
Such a high price and prestigious location may be more stylish than anything the corp base could provide?))
[/ QUOTE ]
This option was considered, and scrapped. It's too easy for non-roleplayers to crash the party and grief everyone. Using the Corp base is the only viable option to make sure this private affair remains private. Not only that, but Martial is a dangerous zone for anyone with roleplay-only chars, who may not have a travel power. The base is accesible from Mercy Island, making it safer and easier to get to for everyone.

((Hmm. Now how the heck does a power-armor using Tech villain follow the dress code without feeling defenseless in a room full of other villains? <.<)
[/ QUOTE ]
Simply ICly include in your RSVP your char's situation, and accomodations will be made such as weapon/shield systems deactivated (plus, you can always spray the armour black). Rest assured, weapons will not be permitted within the base, nor will minions of mastermind characters. Troublemakers will be warned once, and only once to behave in a respectful manner. A second offence will result in ejection from whichever corporation-led team and therein the base.))

...in a black envelope.
((This invitation has been circulated amongst all businessmen, criminals, and known players in the Isles, with the exception of Arachnos personnel.
The party will be held in the Corporation base, starting at 7pm. Anyone interested in attending, please post an IC RSVP, and /chanjoin "corp events OOC" - It's a public channel we will use to arrange base invites on the night.
Those attending on the night will be teamed with Corporation members to allow access. Any ouvert threats or unsociable behaviour will result in one warning only, before immediate ejection by event staff for a second offense.
We hope to see you all there)) -
Characters: Rumour 50, Lord Defender 43, Ardent Resolve 38.
Available: After 7p.m. most evenings until late. -
((Another day, another expired sub and borred forum-account. Gizza job?))

'Sorry 'bout yeh friend there pal, but I did ask 'im polite like teh not shove tha' thing in me face, an' I hate wastin' good bitter.'
The uniformed man glanced down at his companion, who lay in a pool of his own blood, chest caved in and gurgling horribly even as he still clutched a silver crucifix in his right hand. The standing man looked back to the scruffy-looking Irishman who lent casually against the bar. They were in an Irish theme-pub in Salamanca, which managed to do a halfway good job at authenticity. They even had a flag. The Irishman pulled on a cigarette, then blew smoke upwards with a grin before speaking in his Dublin brogue.
'Now what was it yeh wanted t'ask me again?'
The other man cleared his throat, clutching protectively at a crucifix he wisely kept in his trouser pocket.
'Mr O'Bannon, you have certain skills and experience that we would fine useful to our operation. We, or at least now, I am offering you a job.'
'Yeh sure it won't muck up me dole?'
'I beg your pardon?'
'Nevermind. What's the job then?'
The suited man looked around at the other, very silent patrons in the bar before looking back at Cormack.
'I'm not sure this is the right place to discuss such things. There are certain things tha-'
'Whatever, I'll take it if it avoids yeh tellin' yer life's history. Sign me up pal.'
Cormack stubbed out his cigarette with his thumb before strolling past the dumbfounded suited man. He stopped before we went out into the twilight to apply another layer of sunscreen to his arms and face, tucking it back into his pocket as he strode to the black car by the kerb and getting into the front passenger seat. He put his feet up onto the dashboard and waited, lighting a fresh cigarette. -
(borrowing wife's account again, sodding Maestro) I know the OP, who's in two of my supergroups. I have a BS/SR scrapper at fifty. I have had the same problem as the OP, in that mobs since I12 seem to have been hitting her much more often than her 40% defences would have me believing. Prior to I12, I could happily leap into an eight person team's enemy mob with wild abandon, even set to Invincible difficulty, and barely see three hits land before the mob was dealt with. With, or more often, without a tank. Even Boss-level mobs would miss more than not, but since the latest issue she's taken everything the enemy world has thrown at her, to the point where my level fifty scrapper has a date with the deletion button once I get my next vet reward respec to remove her last set IO's.
I would always open with Parry, and keep it more or less double-stacked amid my usual attack chain and would still get hit a lot more since I12. Maybe luck doesn't favour myself and the OP anymore, or something is actually wrong with SR now. Either way, it's no longer going to be part of my future scrappers.
As for my scrapper's powers, she had every attack but for Slash and Provoke, and every secondary. All defences slotted with three end redux and three defence, level fifty IO's with one Gambler +rech global. Mid's build code for this char unavailable, due to never having used Mids to plan it.
Anyway, it means I get to make a new char. -

For my my character Deadland, Adagio in G minor by Albinoni is most fitting. Turn your speakers up, lean back, and close your eyes.
