Point in fact, if the EU numbers were low enough to justify a server merge then it would either be in the pipeline and up on the announcement threads and the updater, or already been done.
It hasn't.
One question, do you have exact figures including people on hide for any consectutive period of time?
I'm not talking logging on and checking at 1pm every day for a week, I'm talking average numbers and hours played over a period of 3 months.
Your answer - No, you don't.
NCSoft EU do have those numbers, those numbers tell NCSoft EU that a server merge is not needed, nor is a transfer to the US.

Errr no, As NC are legally required to separate the servers in the first place it seems highly unlikley
Jay - there is a body of evidence that is showing a decline in the number of users logged into Defiant during "peak" hours.
And are you saying that some of use arn't seeing a decrease?

That was to support people who live in the EU and were forced originally to purchase the US game to transfer the characters they created to the new EU servers rather than lose customers when they realised they'd lost hrs of playtime.
There's no incentive or reason for them to offer the opposite.
Not to mention that people had to purchase a EU account as well to use the transfer, they didn't have an EU account automatically made for them.
If, just an "if" mind, "if" there wasn't an issue with player numbers in the EU - why would there be plans for a marketing campaign?
I mean - that game has run for 4 years with the need for one. So why now?
Could it be that the Dev want to see more players in the game, or just that they want more money?
Because more revenue is always good?
At the time I purchased the game, I wasn't aware there was an US version. If I had then I might have signed up for that version.
Therefore don't the EU players, who like me were not aware of the choice, deserve to have the choice?

Both. They want to introduce the game to people who don't know about it and they want money to support themselves and the game.

Perhaps you deserve it doesn't meen the company are in a posistion to provide it.
If you wish to play in the US you're more than welcome to purchase a US account.
Personally, having played in the US, I much prefer it here. Of course I'm elitist, I'd rather a higher level of competence in teams than a higher frequency of teams.
You do - buy the US version. Not a great choice, but a choice nonetheless.

Happy as things are. I would NOT support in any way shape or form a transfer to the US servers unless I were able to transfer all my toons, my SG, and my friends could do likewise so that we could continue to play as we have been.
I also wouldn't support the deletion/transfer of the German and French servers since those players are entited to servers in their language and I strongly supsect that were foreign language versions to be hosted in the USA, there would be something of an outcry especially amongst any hispanic players who would then demand their own server(s) in the name of equality.
An ill conceived and poorly thought out request/statement IMO
