I see no real problems, the first thread has ended amicably with promises from both GR and K about the future including a promise of more advertising for the game, and I doubt that's simply more magazine ads,
and believe it or not, for a split continent game CoH EU actually has quite a high population and subscriptions are increasing.
And don't mention the bandwagon that is WoW, on any statistical sheet worth viewing it's written off as an anomaly.
Judging by your sig all you want to do is farm/PL anyway, fail to see why you can't just get another account and go to the US.

Given they have to run seperate servers in the first place because of legal reasons it seems unlikley they are going to offer to help you circumvent that nessecity.

Thing is the suggestions forum isn't really about discussing whether or not your point is valid, its about making suggestions to fix the problem. You aren't suggesting a fix, and as pointed out before neither of you are actually suggesting anything.
To fix the percieved lack of players on some servers at some points in time by allowing disgruntled players to transfer to server that might have a better population isn't actually going to fix anything for the majority only for those who actually want to transfer.
And as has been said in at least one other thread by a red name if such a thing was opened up the two servers that have a better population than Union at our peak periods would almost certainly not be allowed. So you'd transfer to a server that at the peak periods in the Eu actually has less players online than what you had left. Which I'm guessing isn't what you want.
If of course your play time is at 1am GMT (8pm New York) then I wonder why you bothered to buy the EU edition in the first place, and if it was a genuine mistake and you are in fact a US citizen who purchased the wrong copy of the game I suggest you get in contact with tech support. They won't transfer you but IIRC they might close your EU account and create a US version for you.
But TBH I think you're both whining about something that is only your perception of an issue, mine is entirely different and even at 3am when I often play I have been able to find teams when I want (farming/PLing/and normal missions).

Point in fact, if the EU numbers were low enough to justify a server merge then it would either be in the pipeline and up on the announcement threads and the updater, or already been done.

One question, do you have exact figures including people on hide for any consectutive period of time?
I'm not talking logging on and checking at 1pm every day for a week, I'm talking average numbers and hours played over a period of 3 months.

NCSoft EU do have those numbers, those numbers tell NCSoft EU that a server merge is not needed, nor is a transfer to the US.

We can only go by what we can see - and some of us see a decline in acutal players logged into the game. Fact.
We don't see the figures - Fact. Fact - you're assuming. Assumptions lead to poor choices, and are not a good place to make your stand from.
