All of them, cos there's a lot of superflous caps in the preceeding text.

Is The Reason Everythings Getting Hit With The Nerf Bat Simply Because Its Easier For The Devs To Bring The Few Good Power Sets Down A Notch, Rather Then Buffing The Many Sets That Struggle With Game Play?
I'm Only Asking To See If Its Just Me That Feels That Half The Sets That Have Been Tampered With For The Worse And Also The Sets That Rumors Of "DOOM" Are Flying Around About, Really DONT NEED TO BE TAMPERED WITH AT ALL! Caps Intended.
Ok Take Brutes For Example For A Long Time We've Had The Big Bad 3 (SS,SM and EM) I've Experienced all 3 of these magical sets in the hands of a brute and it feels like this is the way the archetype was meant to be played. But obviously instead of bringing the other sets the brute has to offer up to the standard of these 3 its become accustom to bring these 3 down a notch so they don't feel as super powered. the last 2 words of that sentence hurts me inside, because WE ARE MEANT TO BE SUPER POWERED now i know i chose brutes to get my point across but it isn't just them! its happening all across COX on practically all archetypes
But anyway i would appreciate it if anyone could tell me they felt the same way or perhaps give me an explanation as to why this is happening and prove me wrong

It's easier to nerf than to buff yes.

The game is easy. With the "nerfs" it's still easy. RAWR!

From a development point of view, if you buff the sets that the player base feel need to be buffed, you first have to research why people think they are 'teh suxsor' then, try to buff them to the same level as the 'good' sets.
However if you don't buff enough they are still 'teh suck!', if you buff too much then all the previous good sets are no considered 'sucky' and thus need buffing too.
This line between too much and too little is hard to get right, hence it being easier to just knock the effectiveness of the good sets down.

some how i knew these would be the kind of posts I'd receive... but i thought i'd post my feelings anyway, and thanks to cactus for putting it in to perspective for me, probably the most useful response so far...
Well, they buffed MA recently, and I think Claws are getting buffed soon too - so they're not always nerfing everything

But he chose to 'put it in perspective' by pandering to your belief that everything is always nerfed. This reinforces your self worth, so of course you think it's great.
You initial assumption is wrong, hence the rest of your post is invalid.

Everything is always nerfed, even the buffs come with nerfs to other powers.

CB, I honestly thought you were better than that. That logic is so downright weak I can see it fading away as I look at it.
You just specifically said that somethings got buffed. If they got buffed, then they can't have been nerfed. If something else gets nerfed at the same time, that does not eliminate the fact that something got buffed.

read his post again, thoroughly and tell me if he was "pandering to my belief", i thanked him for his post because he gave a good explanation of why it is easier to Nerf than buff... and why it makes more sense...

Does if were considering sets as a whole, for example they slightly buff tier two power from a set but nerf tier three drastically, then the set as a whole still got nerfed no?

No - hairy men in kilts shouldn't eat hairy food - it just makes them hairier.

No - I've never seen a hairy man in a kilt - but I think it pays to be careful
