Turn you max particle setting down a little. The effect is only visible when you have settings at maximum.

The effects have always been there... well, the slight trail flowing down. But now it's over the top and rather ugly, imo... although it does make it look like you're flying faster...

that's not really a super hero...just a hero, a super hero is more like spiderman or superman who has powers natural to them.(though, spiderman had it by injected mistake, but you get my drift)

Well even though I would like my fly power on my Technology brute to be flames coming out from the soles of his feet( or if I could get a jetpack costume part for a cape replacement that would be cool as well), I can get behind this suggestion.
Half the fun in this game is creating and playing a concept (at least for me).
Improved power customization in general would be nice.

Id also like to see the circular graphic on Superleap changed too. Possibly replaced with a 6 Million Dollar Man style 'Shin-nin-nin-nin-nin' sound effect :P

Policy: no graphics changes unless nessassary. However many people like the changes, there are bound to be some who don't, and whine vociferously, so graphics changes are a no win situation.
A "don't show any effects affecting self" switch in graphics settings should be possible though.

I not arguing here, just curious Is Spiderman a natural hero? his powers were granted by mutation .. unlike Superman who was born the way he is. And isnt Superman really a Hero of circumstance, as on his home planet he is just a normal bloke, its something to do with Earth's atmosphere that makes him more than Human?

According to CoX canon, Spiderman would be a Science origin character and Superman a Natural origin. CoX canon states that Mutant origin is for those that are born with a DNA alteration which precludes any sort of alteration to your genes during your life to be called an origin through mutation.

Spiderman could be considered either a mutant origin, or a science origin (muntant for obvious reasons, or science becuase it was a genetically altered spider, so technically it's a lab accident

superman just is superman, nothing happened to him, no radiation, toxic waste, mutated genes, that kinda thing. anybody from his planet would be super if they were on earth (somthing about the sun IIRC), so he's a natural origin

ok... This discussion already has been done a long time ago. The rule book that came with COX already thought about that.
Mutant - Born with powers... But not the same as the rest of its species.
Science - Derived from a scientific source... often a science accident. radio activity, cosmic rays etc.
Magic - Source of power is manipulation of mystical forces by incantation or as channeller. Also those who got their powers from a mystic source like a wand or a stone.
Natural - No special powers at all for their species except for those abilities that can be trained. Like Batman... But as Superman is a Kryptonian and his powers are normal for the race, he is a natural too.
Technological - This include the cyborgs, robots, armor (like Iron Man). It can be seen as tech enhanced natural.

one small mistake, if that would be true, then doctor octopus is both science and technology since he had high-tech arms stuck on his spine but his experiment got wrong while working in his basement.(yes, i'm basing it from the real marvel story, nothing movie about it)
a bit complex if you ask me, you can't really judge one hero/villain on that list, there are plenty of mix matches that are not there.(btw, apocalypse is created by both god and ancient technology, nothing about that in your list)
I think it would be nice to be able to turn off the light comming around our hands and feets when we're flying a hovering...
