By casual players do you mean ones who cant get a team because they arent part of a certain circle of players? I know its frustrating to try and find a team and all the players capable of teaming with you decide its more fun just to farm you until you leave. In warburg anyway, every other zone at least you only have the opposing side to worry about.

Only the Quaker one doesn't really involve science as thats religion and thats about beliefs and not hard facts.
Caves are made by science and the Turner Prize i'm not too sure about lol. PvP is maths mostly as there are all sorts of numbers going on. You could argue it was an art form, especially kiting and being able to anticipate. The science is in the planning and learning from what is going on so you don't make the same mistake twice.

If a PvPer can't find you, then your not there. Your not going to win and the other heroes won't be buffed and healed.

I never boasted in the first place about killing Xanthus, I was stating that If I knew he was after me I would make sure all my defences were active and be very aware of my surroundings, his position and my position at all times.

I would not have any intention of even trying to win anyway, I have 4 offensive powers and would not be able to compete with anybodys PvP build, a large percentage of my powers are for the benefit of other players.
What I'm saying is although I wouldn't win.... neither would an opponent - on 1v1, because I'd make damn sure you would not be able to find/catch me if i were purposely avoiding you.

If Xanthus has a defender that he would like to challenge me with in the Arena I will be more than willing to accept that challenge, but to call someone out to the arena and say "I bet my Spines Scrapper or Brute can beat your Empath in the arena!"...well, thats a pretty predictable forecast wouldn't you say.

Ok sure, I've got a defender. He's on Defiant though, along with the majority of my characters. Can you use the test server? I'm free pretty much most nights except thursdays and saturdays, assuming that I can use my housemates PC as mine is currently broken.
When I said "you", I wasn't directing the comment at you specifically; more at the people who are prone to whine after they get killed in a PvP zone in a way that they think is "unfair". I suppose I could have phrased myself a little better.

I don't know why, Stalkers try and AS, therefore showing themselves and allowing their behinds to be handed to them.
The only stalkers I know that are there but can't be touched are the ones that phase as soon as they come out of hide. They don't win either as they can't help their team mates.
For one on one, why even bother thinking about it?

As far as caves involving science is concerned, I'd have to differ. The dictionary definition of science is that it's a system of practice or knowledge; something is a product of science if it's come into existence as a result of people practising this system, or using knowledge obtained through it.
Caves, on the other hand, are formed as a result of natural processes. Science may identify the laws underlying these processes, but the natural laws and processes aren't science in themselves.
Edit: Plus the things I were point out as not-science were the cave paintings, rather than the caves themselves. So that's 4 things that aren't science.

I spec mine so I'm good at both, I PvE and PvP on all my toons. Doesn't hurt to have a PvP toon and a seperate PvE toon that you enjoy. I play in teams as support mostly so I don't duel one on one, except very rarely purely for fun but the ones that are actually good, don't need to brag.
