Do you think we may be able to study PvP at college in a few years?

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought you already could, there are courses in video games and a few computer courses study the history of games.

Love it.

Great post Blaps lol

Simple fact of the matter is if you enter a pvp zone, like the contacts will tell you, prepare to be attacked. It is completely irrelevant whether or not you are there for farming, badge hunting etc. How or why other players decide to attack you is also irrelevant, it is their perogative.

You may not agree with it, it may seem 'dishonourable' (lmao@honour - especially with the hero/villain ethos), but that is YOUR issue, not that of the person/people attacking you.

And let me set something straight, I don't think I know any pvpers who give two hoots about reputation. I only go into pvp zones to kill as much of the enemy as possible, as many times as i can. And if someone is daft enough to whinge about it on open broadcast, they may as well paint a big red target above their head.

As for the whole 'science' argument, as a practising science teacher, i find the whole matter quite interesting. I believe to a greater extent, Chilli is mostly correct.

Even if you find it very difficult to currently link a topic to science, this does not mean that it can not be so in the future. From a theoretical perspective, everything we know now came about as a direct result of the 'big bang', so thought, time, religion, animal, vegtable and mineral are all inextricably linked at some juncture.

To put GG on topic - Some people that enter RV probably need to do a course in PvP to be able to understand whats going on.

I've not read all 16 pages, only the OP.

RV is a PvP zone, oddly enough, for PvP'ing. There are asides/bonuses in the zone, like badges and farming etc. but for all intents and purposes, it's a PvP zone and people will go therer for just that.

Everyone else is a target; come back later.

But that IS explaining how the zone works

PvP zones are where you do the practicals after you read about the PvP.

Bloody Bay/Level 25 Arena = Beginner
Siren's Call/Level 30 Arena = Intermediate
Warburg/Level 38 Arena = Advanced
Recluses Victory/Level 50 = Masters

Not automatically, any more than I'm automatically right. You reach agreement through argument, not throwing insults around - I've given my opinion, which wasn't exactly addressed in any detail.

Want to try again?

Reading ain't the same as doing - a gentle introduction is better than a ganking

Thats your opinion and obviously not one shared by myself or the developers.

The devs also failed to add animated hair from the start - this is proof enough that they don't always do the right thing

The dev's do the right thing, they have refused to add animated hair and not let it get in the way of PvP.

They also added Bloody Bay, which is a beginner PvP zone. So that its won't come as such a shock when the new guy gets ganked in Siren's Call. As they will already have been ganked in Bloody Bay. Unless they were the ones doing the ganking, where by they have got the hang of PvP.
