Is there any winning brute combos for pvp? and i kind of suck so can you spare me the 'experiement/it's good in it's own way' stuff. A straight forward answer is appreciated, from someone as stupid as me xD

Energy/elec, the ultra-common combo. But prepare to be a clone 
Energy/Fire isn't half bad either, given how useful Healing Flames and Fiery Embrace are (though FE is 5 levels too late for Sirens Call). The Fire Resists will help versus Fire/ Blasters, and it has fairly decent S/L/Energy resists too. The downside is no God Mode, Endurance Drain protection or resistance to slows.
You'd also get access to the stupidly-powerful "Burn + Fury + Patron AoE Immobilise" combo for PvE farming.
If you don't feel like rolling another Brute from scratch, your SS/Elec will probably do fine in Sirens.
Double-Stacked Rage and KO Blow, plus Static Shield's mez protection. Loverly... 
Super Strength/Fire is a lovely combo. The Rage + Fiery embrace from fiery aura makes a v. nice combo with knockout blow on top
Dark/Fire is great fun - two self-heal powers, two end-drain powers and two build up powers!
SS/fire for pve and EM/fire for pvp.

Superstrength has one downside in team PvE. Only one AoE attack and an almost counter-productive AoE stun (Hand clap).
Elec has 4 (5 if you include the jumping charge power which i forget the name of). Making it, probably, the choice for team PvE AoE damage.
Footstomp has a 20 second base recharge compared to Lightning Rods 90...

Winning combo - well EM & SS are seriously decent primaries - i'd say secondries I think Elec & Fire stand out with Stone at the bottom sadly 
DA imo is a low ranking one too although great for odd tricks.
But think they can all handle themselves pretty well!
Are you looking for team PvP or to survive or just raw damage?

DA is great mitigation in PvE, and quite good in PvP too. Just not as cookie-cutter as some others.

/Elec can take more damage, but /fire can deal more. EM/ for PvP. So either EM/elec or EM/fire.

Yep as per the quote above to take and dish out I think EM is best primary and fire or Elec.
Elec has a good God Mode to stand toe to toe vs several PvPer's while fire has a tasty rez as you no doubt will face plant in pvp and it's handy to have - either way both fun toons to play!

Just to chime in (a little late), I have a lot of fun with my Dark/Dark brute. It's a little weird but the combo is all about Mez auras and out-healing your enemies during fights. I've found it blows at higher level pvp (which might just be me), but in PvE it's a pretty exciting combination. After level 18 you've got an endurance recharger and a hp recharger that makes most "oh [censored] I'm almost dead" moments spin around very, very quickly. And once you get the fear/disorient auras you'll be rather popular when leading the charge with squishy teammates.
