1905 words and I'm stopping at a nice place. There's an excerpt up. 
Chugging through first intro scenes. Anyone have any proper information about MI5?
Is it time for the dance of joy yet?
Ok I'm confused. I've added several buddies, but seem to have no way of linking directly to them or their excerpts?
Anyone help?

View Profile at the top of your page, and you should see your buddies listed underneath your word count - click a buddy, and steal...er...read their information/excerpts .
Best of luck this month to all taking part - take it from me, it's hard going. Especially about 2-3 weeks in...

Fake MI5 or real MI5? The Professionals would come close, if not I can probably find some websites?
Also NaNo has a forum for just such purposes 
Can't find a View Profile option - Buddy list just selects them, doesn't give me a choice of anything.

Proper MI5 please - need to know what geographical divisions they operate under and what a Greater London section head would be called.

Oddly enough, he's a newly-minted Sir as of the night before our story begins. I'm aware that by his level in civil service he'd be at least a KCMG (Kindly Call Me God) or GCMG (God Calls Me God), but Sir has a ring to it.
It also explains why he's late for work this morning, and, therefore, alive.

Unfortunately, due to an incident at my apartment last night, I didn't get to sleep until about 4am after talking to police etc, so early-writing might be called off. Might start later on if things don't develop here.

I've just done my prologue of 519 words (woo, and indeed, hoo) - it's up on the site. Now to forward the document home and delete it so I don't feel tempted to continue it in work.

Head of MI5 I remember reading somewhere traditionally was referred to by one letter.
For some reason I think it's "C", or possibly "M" but that might be James Bond corrupting it...
