In a PvP zone anything goes, anything. Being attacked by other players is to be expected, use of all powers are the friggin' law! Insps/temps/jumping like a monkey! ANYTHING!
If you want a proper duel, I suggest you take it to the arena.
There are numerous threads/discussions in this section about PvP zones/duels within.
(Sorry to seem a lil harsh, but if anyone else brings this up again i'll personally duel them in the arena!)
I think I would have run if I was a regen and another Brute came up with a heavy.

didn't really get much of a chance, SS and SJ were compressed because of my attacks, was blown to bits before i could figure out, the MoG was a reflex fro mhaving no heals charged and low hp

yay, and i just specced in fly to compliment the -fly -jump of entangle and autohit glue arrow. Of course thats not a problem for you is it jum with your vast array of ranged attacks

Well according to some "people" I think they're like this.
1: No inspirations (For the use of inspirations is evil).
2:No stealth powers (For stealth kills kittens).
3: Melee characters are not allowed to use any form of armour/resistance power as this is not fair on squishies.
4: No use of healing powers.
5:No allies or buffs.
7:No running away.
8: No moving at all.
9: You must not defeat your opponenet, to do so would upset the other player and destroy their delusions of greatness.
10: The above rules do not apply to your opponent, who in fact MUST do the opposite while whinging about even the slightest thing that may make things hard for them (planetary alignments,cats,cake,disease) and blaming the other party for them.

Seems like today that 10% of the people who lose in casual PvP (1 v 1 mostly) say that a cat jumped on their keyboard.
PvP... I liked sirens call today it was funny
I got squished twice by two heroes and i used my heal power a couple of times and an endurance insp... but i still got squished nevertheless which i wasnt bothered about in the slightest i just found it hilariously funny.
Im a noob and even i know there are no rules in pvp... its like asking for a knife fight in counter strike public servers...they always use their guns and blow your head off - because they have them.
I wouldnt work my [censored] off getting to recluses victory to be told "[censored] you cant use them powers of buffs or debuff its not fair" my reply to that would b: "Scr*w you! "

my cat tends to jump on my keyboard a lot actually, only in PvE thoguh, guess he knows when to stop. never caused me to die now that i think about it, maybe it was saving me for protecting it during the issue war...

Agreed I was there it was very funny. Esspecialy when the person who said you cant use them came out with, "I'm a PvPer and I know for a fact ispiarations are frowned upon in PvP"

If you had both agreed before the duel over exactly what was and was not allowed, and then one of you broke the rules you'd set, then it'd be a valid complaint.
But if nothing was said before the duel, then that means no rules

I've logged in several times to see a villain in RV, they get smashed in and i asked questions about who was duelling who afterwards . its not the arena afterall

I Always say this to anyone dueling in any game. "if you want a fair dule then load up street fighter 2 both log in as ryu and bingo complelty fair dueling environment".
