Zonal PvP curse and beauty at same time is that there are no rules. I keep cremating duel spectators cause well i obviously dont harass the duelers (i kill the one still standing if its a hero immediately after the duel is done)

been utlizing my new view on PVP in sirens and warburg, racked up about 12k bounty in sirens and killed a sg mate there a few times.
Warburg was, well a war zone. only a couple of villains so i did my best to attack everyone and bring as much aggro onto myself as possible. killed an empath a few times, bout 6 blaster kills, couple of scrappers, a troller, an MM twice, and quite a few stalkers, plus a corrupter for good measure. led another blaster to the MM at one point and watched the hillariously one sided fight. good times..

If it was a 1vs1 arranged Duel, the way i see it should be all powers, no inspirations.
If you were just fighting someone, suck it up and take it like a man.
Ofcourse, when someone has around 20 Respites and 20 Catch a Breaths it does get frustrating v.v

Agreed imho insps are a part of the game use em end of.
Also if you are arranging a duel and dont want to be interupted, take it to the Arena please, thats what its there for!

1) fight
2) ....
3) profit
anyway, everything goes in PvP zones.. got a tray of reds? use em. Got auras/shields? use em. AS that poor chap just watching a duel? do it. Its a zone, its war, stay on your toes. Doesnt mean you cant make your own rules, as sometimes I'll just watch a duel for the laughs, especially if fights are getting onesided anyway (e.g. 10 heroes vs 2 vills). Doesnt mean I wont keep vigilant and keep my eyes peeled for any enemy that makes the mistake of "just standing there to watch".

Dunno if "approve" is the word people would use. I think most people would frown upon it, especially if no attempt were made to finish the player off.

And then the troller pops around 10 Robusts, a medium break free, 10 reds and 10 yellows with a purple in there for good measure.
We have a Uber troller tank running Unstoppable, completely mez resistant and hitting the damage/accuracy cap.
Ofcourse your right, inspirations balance everything out, how silly i was for trying to be the voice of reason.
You can't buy inspirations in two of the 4 pvp zones for a reason.

Duels are for MMO's if the enviroment is tailored to it.
Zones aren't. The Arena, however, is a fine place to hone you 1v1 skills.
