Regen & fitness pool
There is no cap, as far as I'm aware. And if there is it must be WAY above what Quick Recovery+Stamina can give.
World of Jackcraft.
I have Regen and the Fitness pool, both seem to work together and it's a very decent effect. Initially I got to Stamina through Swift and Hurdle, but when I respecced I went with Swift and Health instead, and the increase was noticeable.
I respecced my Regen scrapper into Fitness after I6 to compensate for some of the lost endurance and health regen and haven't looked back since. The health regen boost is nice and if you run expensive toggles like Leadership, Fighting or Focused Accuracy, you will probably need Stamina.

Is it possible to take all of these? The ones with your power set (regen) and the ones in the fitness pool? Would that make any difference or is there a cap that I dont know about?

I did, and glad quick rec + stamina comes in handy when you choose your epics.

Hi Everyone,
Tried searching for this but couldnt find anything about it.
I am thinking of rolling a regen scrapper sometime and have question. Regens have a power that regarges health and (i think) endurance faster.. which i think is the same as the fitness pool health & stamina.

Depends what your primary is. I heard some folks do without.
Having a villain eating lawnmower with Spines, I took Stamina to enable running Quills as much as I want, which has a pretty hefty end' cost, & I want the spare there so I can choose to put Focussed Accuracy in next time I bag a respec', & last time I had that, my scrapper ate more endurance than he eats bad guys .
Not sure about health. I think it's worth having, but I've also heard people report slotting it makes neglible difference & the slots can be better spent. I don't know myself how much that bears out.
It does depend on wheat other toggles you are running and what other powers you have.
I don't use the fitness pool myself.I run Integration, Focussed accuracy and combat jumping with my MA/Regen, but he also has hasten so he has end reducers in integration and all attacks instead of recharge. He hardly ever runs out of end, it has to be a REALLY big fight or soloing a GM or something before I run out.
With the health thing, I have never really noticed much difference without it, although when I did have it it wasn't slotted.
Up to you really, it is possible for /regen to work without it, depends on what other powers you want, I wanted SS and SJ cos I love em both, that was my reasoning for a fitness less regen, but if you can fit it in, it's never really gonna be a harm
I have Quick Recovery and Stamina for my kat/regen scrapper, and since i took it i've never looked back. The slots on stamina are very useful and make a noticeable difference, but i'm not sure about the slots on health. As i'm running short of slots in my planned build i may well respec them to somewhere else, but i'm not sure.
I find that I tend to keep SJ on all the time when i'm fighting, but the only other toggle i have is Integration, which has an End reduction on it. Level 38 now, and the only attack which has and end red is golden dragonfly, although i might change that to another recharge. I have no endurance troubles at all, unless I have to revive in a battle (in which case i'm normally fine with half end anyway), or unless i'm fighting freaks, Mu, or some other end suckers. And even then the effect is very small comparative to any other AT. Once i get Focussed Accuracy, this might change, but that will have to wait til i'm 41.
Having said that, I wouldn't say fitness pool is a necessary for a regen scrapper. I speced fighting pool out for fitness, but it'd be nice to have *some* resistance to damage. Resiliance is negligible, i find, but the +Res (disorient) is useful.

Matakoshi (kat/regen Scrapper, lvl 50)
I have't taken it on my regen and i never thought i needed it, untill i respeced and started running alot more toggles now i feel it would be usful, as has been said before in this thread it depends on the rest of your build, if you only plan to run intergration then you could prob get away without stamina, however if you pick up lots of toggles in your pool powers and epics you may really want it, I noticed my endurance issues started when i began running FA perma.
I don't know how QR compares to stamina but if it falls into line with the rest of the game QR should be stronger as it is a power in an actual power set, and as i understand it they should always be stronger than any version of it you can get in pool powers.
I am really interested in this aswell. Dont have access to builder atm but what I am wanting on my Spines/Regen is fighting, leaping, speed and either leadership or teleport pools.
Given that I am not taking quills (yes I know but not building it for aoe but rather for ranged attacks) will it be possible to have CJ,SS,tactics, toughen,FA and integration running without stamina and end reds in attacks, (erm, reading it I have a feeling I know the answer )?
Also how much of a difference does health make to regen rate, is it enough to save you in quicker fights?
I'm definitely going to be taking Stamina at some time with my Claws/Regen. With just Integration running, it doesn't take much fighting before I'm finding myself holding back so I won't run out of endurance.
I guess a third Damage slot in my attacks would help some, or possibly finding space later on for an Endurance Reduction slot too.

I've a feeling you'll be right .
With regards to your question about Health: do you mean
a) combined with fast healing but without Integration running?
b) combined with fast healing with Integration running?
For a) I wouldn't suggest going into any fights with even con or above mobs and not having Integration running.
If b) It adds about 77% IIRC to the regen rate (not sure if it's visibly noticable...) which I personally feel is worth it.
(Can never have too much regen )
Plus it's your mez protection.

I would suggest never turning Integration off at all, with quick recovery and/or stamina there is no real need, it doesn't drain too much, and the mez protection alone is worth keeping on for all mobs.
Mine gets put on when I log in, and then forgotten about.

Yeah, Integration is like a permanent part of my costume. Thankfully it doesn't seem to suffer from the toggle drop on zoning bug either, for some reason.
I have absolutly no endurance issues on my Dark/Regen Scrapper now that I have three SO end modifications on Quick Recovery.
I picked up Dark Consumption so I could steal end from enemies, and in three levels I've needed it once.
I only have integration running.
And why bother with health?
With Fast Healing + Integration, all health is gonna do is reduce your down-time if you take a beating.
In that situation I just use reconstruction and be done with it. It recharges so fast anyway.
So like the man said, only grab fitness if you're running extra toggles from the Power Pools.
Quick recovery and stamina work in different ways but with roughly the same effect overall, 1 of them speeds up the blips of endurance you get back, the other makes the blips bigger. So if you have both you get quick big blips and no end ttroubles.
As above it depends on your build. If your thinking of taking Focussed accuracy or the fighting pool id recomend stamina aswell, if your not going to have any other toggles then integration QR will be fine.
Also in terms of late game there are a few enemies that cause end troubles for people. If you take stamina you can laugh in the face of sappers and carnies... Carnies were my favourite 40+ enemies with my scrapper.

Is this true? I never heard of it. (altho I admit I never looked into it)
I'm supposing QR makes you recover faster, and Stam makes you recover more?
AFAIK they work the same way. Anyways, for total EPS, QR>Stamina.

I believe they work in the same way, never heard anything to the contary. And as MaX said, QR gives a better EPS boost than Stamina.
Well I figured QR was better then Stam :P I don't think pool powers are "allowed" to be better then powerset versions right?

[/ QUOTE ]Usually not, but there are exceptions.
you dont need stanima if you have quick recovary and are a katana/claws with regan but it is always usful to have
My claws/regen needs stamina, especially when running Tough and Focussed Accuracy.
