  1. Quick recovery and stamina work in different ways but with roughly the same effect overall, 1 of them speeds up the blips of endurance you get back, the other makes the blips bigger. So if you have both you get quick big blips and no end ttroubles.

As above it depends on your build. If your thinking of taking Focussed accuracy or the fighting pool id recomend stamina aswell, if your not going to have any other toggles then integration QR will be fine.

Also in terms of late game there are a few enemies that cause end troubles for people. If you take stamina you can laugh in the face of sappers and carnies... Carnies were my favourite 40+ enemies with my scrapper.
  2. Ill agree that CoV seems to have issues with the quality of play. I think there are a number of reasons.

1 Every AT can do damage so every1 wants to fight. In CoH you have the healer/buffer hanging back watching peeps and the tank in the middle keeping an eye on the mobs plus the trollers doing all manner of crazy things while the scrappies and blasters just pick off the mobs. In CoV pugs it tends to be more like a grrrrr charge.. ... dead... oh half the team are dead already, when did that happen?
Every1 is tending toward watching the mobs hp bars rather then their teams.

2 Level of experience. Most CoH players have been around the game a few times (I know there are still new players always comeing in but most are fairly experienced). This means CoH players normaly have a good group of friends to team with in CoV while the much bigger quantity of new players dont have any1 to learn from. We need to get out there and start taking noobie villains into good teams and giving them advice on how different types work, nasty mobs to watch, order of killing mobs.

3 The lvl40 cap. A lot of peeps have hit 40 a while back and are just waiting for I7. The numbers will shoot up but it wont help the low lvls as the lvl40 players will all be off teaming together or soloing to do the new missions and hit 50.
  3. Yeah i know the damage they can cause but theres not much any1 can do about that, well except for the high resistance sets like invul so i dont see it as a weakness. you still have 8 % resistance to smash/let/en/neg which is 8% more then most people have and the defence makes it so that 2 slotted acc is nt gauranteed to hit which is again better then most peoples defences.

So obviously tanks are tougher but dont have the same damage potential and scrappers/brutes depend on what you see as important or useful to you. I still think regen is the best secondary going for adaptability, but i cant have a egen brute
  4. I love my En/Ea. Barrage, energy punch will build up about 80%fury in 2 enemies and will barely dent your endurance, then its bone smasher for the odd near 1 shot and whirling hands to smack everyone around and keep the fury up, and for lts a good fury bar + build up + Total Focus = nearly 1 shot with almost gauranteed disorient... oh yeah did I forget that all the other attacks have a decent chance of disorient and then theres the actual stun attack, and all your damage is smash/energy so much harder to resist it.

Yeah the armor is a bit squishy but with ann end drain and stealth plus a mix of active armors and passive resistance you can get a nice smashing to smashed ratio.
  5. I think people are being a bit harsh on En/Ea brutes. Ive had no trouble soloing +1s and 2s. Total Focus with buildup and a high fury is nearly a 1 hit against lts, and I just hit 20 with her last night so thats without SOs.

Im building this char for PvP. What more could you need when every attack can disorient. I dont have figures cos I dont believe in number crunching but i can definitely see a lot of dizzy enemies when im fighting. The stealth seems to give a good Def boost even after youve started attacking and I can pound away all day with barage and energy punch with 2-3 toggles on and barely see my end drop.

I feel its a good char to play, not the easiest in the world but definite potential in PvP and as a mopper upper in a team.

  7. I love teamspeak. We Used it in planetside and it made all the difference to how we played. its great for a close working team or for just chatting away in the early hours while hoarding xp with the other late night hoarders.
