Playing against heroes is a complete joke!
Maybe the hero has far too much inf and used it to buy acc inspirations or temp powers. The hero could have had a +acc buff on him (tactics). Which AT were they?

Then you've answered your own question. If you're not fully slotted with SO's, but they are, of course you're going to notice the difference.
As for the -acc aura, most heroes slot 2 acc in most of their attacks now and if you're only running DO's or TO's in your aura they'll hit right through it.

So... My -acc aura, and -acc debuffs from my spells (dark/dark build) didn't do s***? Yeah, right, tactics.
I'm still wondering about the stun/sleep/hold/etc. durations. When I was fighting an equal lvl friend via the arena, when he DID stun me (which was rare), it didn't hold long. While I already know, that if a hero stuns me, I'm dead, no chances, bye bye. And it seems that a certain hero I saw hit me every single time with a stun. Unless his stun spell had a second long cooldown (which is very balanced, considering that my only thing has a cooldown of 60 seconds I believe). Call that fair...
On a side not... I've yet to see my AoE (cone) immobilize spell hit more than 2 times out of 15 (in PvP, in PvE it's quite accurate, and rarely misses... same thing goes for my other spells too anyway). I've got 2 DO acc enhancements in it (as well as in any important attack spell I've got), and I think it's not bad at my lvl, considering that I've got DOs in other places too... SOs are still way to expensive, although I allowed myself to buy one or two. But I still miss A LOT.
There's always a chance that the power sets I chose are completely PvE oriented... in which case it's SO nice that a new player has a lot of info about a power set when he has the chanse to choose one. And it's completely imbalanced.
No, however in fights away from the bases (which was where most of the fighting was, groups villains were owning groups of heroes.
Solo it appeared to be evenly matched (ish). But a solo hero vs a group of villains would do as badly as a group of heroes vs a solo villain.
However, I will admit it was in the early hours of the morning, and the zone was not very well populated.
When a couple of heroes, including myself -tried- to chase someone into the villain base, we got completely splattered by both the automated turrets and villains coming out of the base itself.
You'll miss a lot more in PvP because the base accuracy for all powers is reduced to 50% iirc. This was done because it was too easy to kill Ice tanks and Super Reflexes scrappers.

That's funny... when I took the Private into Bloody Bay a couple of nights ago, the villains had no problem forcing my healthbar into red (forcing me to SuperJump back some to allow for the health to regenerate before jumping back in again). Ok, so the Private is still a I3 build, with the relatively low smash/lethal resistances because of that, but still...

Yup. I've been there plenty of times when the heroes are getting demolished. Just because you have trouble against heroes doesn't mean everyone does...

Yup. I've been there plenty of times when the heroes are getting demolished. Just because you have trouble against heroes doesn't mean everyone does...

I have to agree. I have a plus score against heroes.
Around 50 kills and 5-10 deaths.

aye i often had a fun time in BB with my villain.. enter zone, note your base is under attack, retaliate, rally some villains and run a counterattack at their base, pushing them back to the drones, get pushed back etc etc, rinse and repeat as needed. About the enhance nerf, well i think that when everybody gets to same lvl there SHOULD be some difference amongst the players to make some tougher than the rest, as soon as you got SO filled villains, theyll be same match vs heroes and you wont hear complains then do you? Sounds to me you just had some bad experiences

Yes, of course. Its the only way to get the Heroes to actually come out and fight sometimes. It was our team that set the whole thing off in Bloody Bay. The heroes didn't believe that there were a team of villians in the zone, then they couldn't believe that we were killing 10 heroes for every one of us dying. We were also outnumbered 2-1 at least.

Seriously though, the original poster makes a very good point. With the 50% nerf anyone slotting with DO's, like some of the people in Bloody Bay, stand no chance whatsoever. This will completely put off anyone just starting out to play the game, or just trying out PVP for the first time. Nobody likes to miss 5 times out of 10 and I think it just kills the fun of a PVP fight. This fix was not needed.
ps. can someone please point me to the actual thread or patch notes that make note of this nerf? I'd like to see the reasoning behind it.

What the hell is with this piece of ****?
I've reached lvl 26, and I was hoping I could have a decent, balanced fight against the heroes in Bloody Bay. Possible? NO!
A few question, just to warm up:
a) if there's a lvl cap, why can a hero stun me for over 10 seconds, while my own stun ALWAYS misses?
b) Why do heroes, even with villain resist buffs, do extreme damage that takes me out in seconds, while when they are low on health they can escape without a problem (OK, so I've seen a few get killed, rarity). I've seen a few villains do one-hit lot of damage moves, but that's a rarity. The damage is so small, it's hard to see any impact on a heroes HP bar. Not to mention the miss rate.
c) At one point I saw a hero running away, so I follow him. He's down to like 25-30% health. And then he just turns on me and kills me in 3 or 4 shots (ranged, not meele). Note: I cast a -acc aura on him, yet he hits me every time.
Conclusion: the lvl cap is a joke, and Bloody Bay is basicly a haro playground. "Hey! Look, free villain kills over there!", "Nah, I'm having way more fun oblitarating this group over here." A small group of heroes is enough to camp at the entrance to the villain base and make themselves a villain barbecue.
I don't know, reduce the heroes damage, endurance and ability time by 30%, and PERHAPS, just perhaps, it'll be fair.
EDIT: Oh, and I'm aware that heroes have tons of extra enhancement slots, and SO buffs. But shouldn't that be lvl capped too? Cut the ammount of buffs to what they had when they were lvl 25, cut the lvl of enhancements to lvl 25. As it is, I refuse to believe they are really capped.
