#1. The Backgrounds are great. Especially Desdemona's.

#2. Looking forward to more information - very excited about a new expansion.

It could very well be that the power sets will be in the issue release that ties in with GR and not require the expansion to use them. which would make sense, since there haven't been any power sets restricted as such.(unless you count villain only sets and hero only sets in such a way)

So it actually works out a bit like real life.

"Dammit, people! I'm not that Desdemona! Gah!"

While I won't comment on the mechanics, I assure you that existing characters will be able to "Go Rogue". I fully plan on running opposite faction content on my existing characters.

Please do not allow Posi to write the story arcs for going Rogue.

In Horatio's defense, these were the first arcs he wrote for City of Heroes, and there were parts of the City of Heroes Bible that he missed. He has taken the criticism in stride and made changes to those Task Forces.

I fully expect that his storytelling abilities will grow, and that the inconsistencies will come fewer and farther between the more he studies that bible.
