2. Place multiple recipes in your auction house slots.

Description: Badge Progress info not appearing on 'mouseover' when another dialog is behind it.

1. Select 'Badge' from Navigation bar.
2. In Badge drop down menu, select "Inventions", or any category that shows progress.
3. Open any other dialog window, Recipes, Salvage, Auction House, detached friend list, etc.
4. Position the window so the it covers part of the Badge list.
5. Bring 'Badge list' to the foreground.

Results: Any badge that has another dialog behind it will not desplay the 'mouseover' text. So, if you have a badge at the top or bottom of the list, that does not have another window behind it, the 'mouseover info' for that badge will display.

Entering the Architect datastream (going into the mission) gives the "you cannot enter" popup, but you enter anyway. This is new tonight.

And... crashign out of the MA editor with *some* older local MA files.

Moved my oldest ones (which are published anyway...) into a separate folder, and it starts up fine... otherwise, hard crash when clicking on "My creations," to the "What were you doing?" window.

Crashed trying to edit one of my custom groups. Twice now.

As of I15, the game is literally unplayable. Frames have dropped to 5, both cores max out at 100%, and RAM use is well over 80%. Before the patch I was nowhere near those numbers.

Nothing else on the system has changed since yesterday. Crysis, etc.. run perfectly fine, yet CoH/V suddenly brings my system to a standstill.

Is there some arcane ritual for patch day that I missed that would explain this? I can see no reason, barring a major engine/graphics overhaul (which would have far exceeded the size of today's update) that would have caused anything like this.

Anyone have any ideas?

The game doesn't support multi-core... you have to add the command line to force it to single core. This is a well documented issue.

Which still doesn't explain why yesterday the problem didn't exist, and today it does. I've been playing for several weeks without issue in this regard, so something in I15 has changed.

I will however look up the command line information and see if that makes a difference. Well documented or not, it's not been an issue until now.

Actually the game does support multi core and has for a long time now.

One "bug" I have noticed:

In Rikti War Zone, all quest giver NPC have .txt info type below their names on the compass now.

Also (not sure if this is working as intended or not) the Advanced Drones in the Rikti War Zone (mission instances anyway) when destroyed explode at least three or four times before going away....somewhat annoying.

I am not exhibiting any lag/slowness issues. I'm only reporting this for flavoring, but thought it important. I have Core2Duo 6400(IIRC) 4G ram, Vista Ultimate 32bit, Gigabyte mobo with Intel chipset (appropos for C2D use) and an NVidia 9600GT. I dunno if that helps or not.

However, I am seeing a weird message of "You must complete your current mission" whenever I go in the MA Arc I'm playing... even though I have no other missions. It goes right on it though. Odd.

Hmm.

All mez durations on PVE foes in PVP zones are also capped at 4 seconds. Not too sure if that's working as intended, or it's just been missed.

The patch note regarding the change was:
"Capped the base duration of all mezzes in PvP zones and Arena to 4 seconds. Strength mods can still increase the duration of the mez beyond 4 seconds."

but even then it seems a little...broken to reduce all mez durations down to 4 seconds against PVE foes considering the reliance on mezzes for survival for some archetypes.

Program crashes every time I click on the "My Creations" tab in MA.

Also experiencing the bug where pop-up info for recipies and enhancements in WW doesn't appear on mouse-over.

Getting "day job" badge dialog on log in, but on the badge list the badge is still showing as in progress. Happened to me multiple times today on multiple servers. Does not appear to be specific to any server, archetype, etc. At this point i'm not sure if i've even really earned those badges yet. (i know i was close.)

According to what I've been able to find, it's been in since Issue 6. So much for 'well documented' issues I guess.

I've put in a Support ticket. Hopefully someone there can give me some direction on what to look for.

Thanks!

I only have a dual core to begin with, so I'm going to guess that's not the problem.

Waiting on a reply from the Support team, but going to try a 'repair' on the game files, and update to the newer Nvidia drivers to see if that makes a difference.

The game now supports Multi-Core CPUs just fine; and has now for nearly two years. The old 'renderthread fix is no longer needed (and I play just fine on my Dual core CPU).

Definitely not "working as intended"... the animation for any mob that explodes when defeated loops over and over until the critter fades out. This happened with Rikti drones and Council Zenith Hoverbots. This has been noticed only in mission instances, but will check to see if street mobs of that type also loop their explosion animation when defeated.

I noticed that they gave us a character counter for our description in the "ID" screen. Unfortunately, as I edit my bio, a lot of these characters are getting "stuck", even though I've deleted them. Hard to explain.

Anyway, I figured I'd start from scratch, and deleted my whole bio. I noticed that even with nothing in the field, it was still taking up 31 of my 1024 characters! No matter how many times I hit delete or backspace, it still says 31 characters. What's that about?

Larry: Owen, what the hell did you do to my wife?
Owen: Well I don't want to say on the phone - all I can tell you is that I killed her last night.

Go into your "Missions" folder inside your COH directory. Create a new folder (call it "old missions" or something.) Move your current missions into it. Something in one of the old missions is causing the crash.

This happened during the MA beta with all the various updates and such, as well.

Add the missions back in, one at a time, until you find which one is causing it to crash - then just leave that mission out.

(It hit me, too. Fortunately, they were *older* missions, not the ones I was working on.)

It's been doing this on Live for some time now. It's not an "all the time" bug, just a high chance of occurrence when zoning (including in or out of missions).

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
