It's hysterical! They leave debris every time they explode! If you do a rikti mission on a large team, you could be knee deep in debris!

One drone can do this... I'm horrified at what an 8-man team can do on an AE mission with my Rikti Drones enemy group

The mothership would be buried really fast.
Are there Drones on the Mothership? Wouldn't it be better to do a Lady Grey TF to trigger an Invasion and have masses of Drones port in in one area?
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
If you're trying to maximize drones, load up an AE mission where the enemy group is just Advanced Rikti Drones (not sure if the other drones also work).

all rikti drones did it for me in AE.
C'mon, you gotta do it in public. It's not showing off if you don't have anyone telling you how great you are/did.

Yeah I saw this happening to a 5th Column/Council hoverbot in FF that EI just happened to blow up just for fun...then it kept exploding and I was like, "uh...that's a bug"...said that in the Beta Testers channel...didn't /bug it...guess I should have (thought it was just me/my graphics...didn't try to find another one though).
It is kind of funny
