They don't show as 'up' on my end. The server status still has everything listed as unknown. Typically this means there is data being sent to the server page but the login servers aren't connected to the world servers at the time.

Then its not up, only the login server is up and can't connect to the world server, hence unknown on the server status page

Yeah, but usually once you dl the patch it lets you into the game. I've never been able to log and not enter after maint, or ish release that i recall.

My CoH Updater crashed for the first time ever while downloading this new patch. I'm going to keep surfing the forums to see what I'm downloading. I just thought I'd mention the updater crashed while I tried to download this.
It said in the announcement that armylife had been banned due to meows... lol.
The front page says Issue 15 is going to live servers...why it's dated June 26??? Do they say it's released and then patch 3 days later??

no it doesnt, but like ive said "ive never been able to log in to the game, CREATE a toon, and not enter a server". usually, it wont let me past the login if servers arent up. (or unknown)

I noticed the date as well. I just figured they probably released it close of friday to give the weekend buzz a chance to catch on then push it on monday.

I'm the proud owner of 0 AE badges and if I have my way none of my toons will ever have one. A lvl 5 asked my lvl 46 if i wanted to run AE with them the other day. When I said I don't do AE they asked me if i wanted to start.
I really don't ever want to step foot into that system. If they make it to play in for alternative content then I'm fine with it. Making it level based content is where all the problems began.

But the servers appear to be up when you log into the game (i.e., they show one green dot instead of being greyed out like they are when they're truly down).
Unknown status on the server status page actually means the servers are up, but there is a minimum number of players needed to trigger an actual "Up" status. That's why you'll see the Test Server showing as "Unknown" so often in between new issue testing -- the Test Server will be Up but it won't register as Up on the server status page because there aren't enough people on it.
Right now, the servers are showing as "Unknown" because the only people on them are Paragon Studios employees. The servers *are* up -- if they weren't, the PS employees couldn't be on them. They've just got us locked out at the moment.

Well, this Isuue has some neat stuff, but It or I-16, I don't expect to be huge. They are giving us new content, but with The Going Rouge Expansion comming out this year, I'm ok with "Lite" Content updates. The Devs do seem to have a lot going on atm so It's all good, I'm ready to try th new TF myself, I have run every TF in the game(Hero side) with one of my Scrappers. Now to get him a New Badge!(Even though he lost a bunch from the AE Badge purge).
