Dead Zones *DELETED*
here we go again.......
i have buckets of popcorn for anyone who wants it.
Two sides.
Missions are indoors, so people don't show up.
etc.
(Just don't have the energy for this one.)
I almost thought this was a Verizon commercial..
can you melt the some of the cheese to go on the popcorn? some people may want that now.
What a great idea! Let's get some marshmallows out too to roast as this thread goes down in flames
alright, but this is the only time im bringing the hershey bars and graham crackers to make s'mores.
Mmmm S'mores.. gooey, chocolately deliciousness.

Thanks, Sharker - you are the host with the most!
OP, sorry for all the snark in the thread, but we really have discussed this sooooo many times - and in fact some of what you want to discuss (the effect of AE on the game) is being discussed ad nauseum (oops, sorry for the Latin, Ocho) in the Official Farming thread (started by our own Mod8).
The answers some have alluded to are that there are lots of zones. People are divided into those zones. Within those zones, people are mainly in instances, not standing around on street corners. There are two sides - hero & villain, Pleople are divided into those as well. Some people are indeed in the MA buildings doing stuff there - either farming of doing MArcs because it is still the new shiny for some people and there are a few outstanding stories in the MA (buried but there). Also, now that it's June, people are doing other stuff - vacations, etc., taking them out of game for periods of time. There is also usually a lull in activity in the period just before a new issue is released.
All of these points I have taken from the umpty million threads discussing this previously.
If after 5 years, the game isn't fun for you, then, yes, you should take a break. Come back in a few months or (not trying to drive you away) don't come back at all if you find something else you are loving.
This is supposed to be about fun, so really, don't do something you aren't finding fun. I hope you want to come back, 'cause lots of us are still having fun, but we understand if you have to go do something else instead.

Talos usually seems to be pretty crowded. Post in your server's forum to find out what the server badge/team seeking chat channel is. I usually have a decent chance recruiting mission/GM hunting/TF teams on Victory's.
Try that before you give up entirely. The people who poke their noses out of the AE bldg can usually be found there.
*edited for clarity, posting half asleep
guess were going to have to take the snacks to a different movie guys. the OP pulled the plug on this showing.
Awww, and I was just getting warmed up!
Darn it, why don't people quote these kind of posts?

New Rule: Anyone posting a "popcorn" response MUST quote the OP in its entirety to ensure the later amusement of the rest of us.
Can I still get some of that chocolate and some popcorn?

I've noticed that powered popcorn flavoring stuff works real good on baked potatoes...

I wonder how well it would work on, say, baked chicken?

Are you talking about the neon fluorescent orange cheese powder stuff for popcorn?
That does sound good on a baked potato.

For baked chicken, I recommend the following:
1) Cover cookie sheet in foil, spray foil with non-stick spray.
2) Roll boneless breasts in flour.
3) Roll them in egg.
4) Roll them in crushed "french-fried onions", preferably the cheddar-cheese flavor. The name-brand (Durkee's?) will be significantly better than the store-brand in my experience.
5) Placed on foil-covered sheet and bake (400 degrees for 20 minutes? depends on thickness of chicken).
6) Enjoy with a little BBQ sauce on top.

Occasionally I'm able to get a "Gourmet Popcorn Flavorings" seasoning jar, which has four different flavors, including a sour cream & chives, in one bottle, like those Salt/Pepper/parsley/etc you can buy for camping.

Nah, I'd rather have some BBQ pork ribs.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.
