Yes, but with the improvement to the forums, only the people that P&M about 2XP weekend will be able to see those messages, the rest of us will be blissfully unaffected.

72 Hours without Message Boards? Oh God NO!!! What else is there to do on the internet? Maybe I can get an offline webcrawler and archive the boards so I can keep on posting.

Sounds like you had a display error. Try reloading the page and you should get a white section over the background, and all the text will be in that white area.
...I forgot what experience means.
Did the same for me. Reloading the page did nothing. I got a small white box in the lower right of the screen, but the majority of the text was thin grey lettering on top of the huge graphic of Statesman, Sister Psyche, Lord Recluse and Ghost Widow. All of that text was on the left side of the page.
Happens for me in IE or in Firefox.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Hmm, having the forums down for part of the double XP weekend doesn't seem like a great idea to me.

Why not? People should be too busy playing the game to worry about what's on the boards. I wish they could pull the switch tomorrow....can't wait.

One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Any chance of getting the 5 character minimum for screen names reduced to 3?
My first short story (detective fiction) came out in Jan-2012. Other stories and books to follow, I hope. Because of "real writing". COH was a big part of that happening.

I'm only just starting to use this forum, and I've only been playing about 5 weeks now. I recently got away from World of Warcraft after 2.5 years of play.
I'm happy with my decision to play CoH... and I'm having a lot more fun with it, especially since I have recently joined an SG. The group is small right now, but fairly active.

I don't have a problem posting a link to CoH Helper and there is a ~ in the address there.

Ever consider saving those as text files on your computer? Going from 300 PMs to 75 still means that there are 75 additional PMs that have to be migrated over to the new forum.

I actually just tweeted Niviene commenting about how the new forums would be up just in time for them to complain.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the migration took some extra time ...

On the flip side of that, we wouldn't have forums to plan teams or events for double xp weekend either. I can live thru some complaining if it helps me coordinate with my friends.
