Ok thanks so much! One of those questions I wouldn't have had to ask if I had looked at the Allignment Power section of the guide better...Didn't relize each of the 4 powers was granted for completing its own specific type of morality mission. (Call to Justice for completing Hero, Fear Incarnate for completing Vigilante..etc.) Was under the impression you would get any one of those 4 powers at random after completing any type of morality mission.
Thanks again! -
Quote:I have a question about the Allignment Powers system. This guide says: "Each time you shift morality or reinforce your morality and keep the same alignment for 7 days, you gain a special power. You can only have one of these powers at a time, and lose the previous one each time you shift morality."
What are the Alignment Powers? Each time you shift morality or reinforce your morality and keep the same alignment for 7 days, you gain a special power. You can only have one of these powers at a time, and lose the previous one each time you shift morality:
- Call to Justice
Earned by: Doing the hero morality mission and keeping the same alignment for 7 days.
Description: You inspire your nearby allies to bring justice to your foes. Using this power will moderately increase the damage and to hit of yourself and all nearby allies. Recharge: Very Long
Effects:
+10% ToHit for 30 sec (AoE, 25 ft radius, Allies)
+40% Damage for 30 sec (AoE, 25 ft radius, Allies) - Fear Incarnate
Earned by: Doing the vigilante morality mission and keeping the same alignment for 7 days.
Description: You strike fear into the hearts of the guilty causing all nearby foes to tremble in fear for a short time. Fear Incarnate will only affect Minion and Underling class enemies. Affected foes will also have their To Hit chance reduced. Recharge: Very Long
Effects:
2.0 mag terrorize for 10 sec (AoE, 15 ft radius, 10 targets max)
-10% ToHit for 15 sec (AoE, 15 ft radius, 10 targets max) - Frenzy
Earned by: Doing the villain morality mission and keeping the same alignment for 7 days.
Description: You drive yourself into a blind rage to strike down your foes! Upon activating this power you will increase your recharge rate. All Hero Archetypes, Masterminds, Corruptors and Soldiers of Arachnos will receive a high damage increase, Dominators will have their Domination bar filled, Brutes will have their Rage bar filled and Stalkers will be put into a hidden state and receive a minor damage buff. Recharge: Very Long
Effects:
30% recharge buff on self for 20 seconds
60% increase to all damage for 20 seconds or Special (see description) - Duplicity
Earned by: Doing the Rogue morality mission and keeping the same alignment for 7 days.
Description: You trick nearby enemies causing weaker enemies like minions to become confused for a short time. Affected foes will also have their Damage output decreased. Recharge: Very Long
Effects:
2.00 mag confuse for 10 sec (AoE, 15 ft. radius, 10 targets max)
-10% damage for 15 sec (AoE, 15 ft radius, 10 targets max)
I have a Hero that I just did a heroic morality mission for and got Countdown to Justice. So does that mean in 7 days, I will get the Call to Justice power?
If so, what happens if before the 7 day wait is up, I do another Hero morality mission with this hero character? Do I lose the chance to get Call to Justice, and get a new Aligment power? Does going hero to hero, count as shifting morality as far as allignment powers go?
Lastly, Once I wait the 7 days and have the actual allignment power I can use, is it permanent? Or is it a temporary power that I will only be able to have for a certain amount of time? - Call to Justice

Wow this was VERY helpful! Just have a few questions!
1. So say your a hero. When a tip first drops it is neither heroic or vigilante, you ultimatly deside that, by clicking it and following the dialogue tree to make a choice of wheather the tip will be heroic or vigilante? Once you do that, it is now a tip mission and ready to be completed?
2. So in the guide it explains that if your vigilante for example and have been gathering tips in paragon city, but then zone into the rogue isles, you loose those dropped tips? But, if the tip mission was completed, and counted toward an allignment bar, the progress in that bar is not lost when you zone, yes?
3. You can hold only 3 tips in your inventory at once, right? But can complete up to 5 a day. So, im assuming you would have to complete two of those 3 stored tips, before colecting the final 2 for that day? (to make 5 total.) And, can you have more than 5 tips stored, just not completed, for the first 20 hours? For example, can I collect all 10 of my tips all at once, complete 5, and then wait the 20 hours to complete the other 5?
4. Tips and contact tips= the same thing. They're dropped, you click them to pick the "flavor" of the mission and start mission?
That's it! -

I would love to take part in these TF events but sadly they are too late for me.
Have fun everyone!

Project Paragon is currently recruiting! We are a Hero Super Group on the server Freedom. Project Paragon was created on June 4th 2009. Please go to our website for more information: http://projectparagon.guildlaunch.com/
Super Group Colors, Emblem, and Costume:
Our SG colors are black and white, and our SG emblem is a star (Star 6). We also have a SG costume. Information about our costume can be found in our forums. (Information About Project Paragon).
Super Group Events:
Project Paragon may hold occasional events. Events include running missions (Radios, TFs, AE, etc.), participating in the events held on City of Heroes, or holding meetings when necessary.
Our Super Group Base:
We have a nice base that is sure to fit all of your character’s needs. It is equipped with multiple workshops, an infirmary, and all 22 TPs. It also has multiple decorative role-play rooms.
Role-Playing:
Some of Project Paragon's members enjoy role-playing. Role-Playing is giving your character their own story and personality. Your character has a past, present, and future. Role-Playing is not a requirement in Project Paragon, but it is certainly welcome!
Promotion Policy:
Promotion is based on earned prestige, how often the member attends SG events, and other contributions to Project Paragon.
Helping Our Members:
We are always willing to help our members. Whether it be a question, or maybe they need help with influence or accessing a specific enhancement, we will see what we can do to help. Project Paragon is a friendly SG that always welcomes new players.
Kick Policy:
Project Paragon encourages active participation. If you are offline for over 100 days, you will be removed from the group and sent an email inviting you back to the group, if you return to the game at a later date. Please notify @SaraMC if you plan to be away from the game for an extended amount of time, and do not wish to be removed.
Requirements:
There are no Archetype or Level requirements. We also do not require our members to wear the SG costume, emblem, or colors. We encourage our members to play in SG Mode in order to help our SG grow. We allow our members to have up to 3 characters in the SG. Both experienced and new players are welcome to join.
Becoming a Member:

I hope this information has been helpful!

Quote:Thanks!Entirely up to the mentors to offer their services to players they feel would be a good "match".
For now, there are a few mentors who joined in already associated with a new player or 2.
If you're interested in a direct mentoring partnership, I suggest you advertise (while avoiding spamming) the Mentor Project on your server(s) and your own availability in the N P C channel once new players have joined it.
Each mentor is not only allowed to do what they want as far as mentoring activities are concerned - they're encouraged to do so. There may be some cross-server events in the future, but for now we're still gathering steam.
Good luck!
I have actually talked to few new players who have trial accounts at the moment, but are considering purchasing the game. They love the idea of having mentors to help them out when they need it. -

I really like the idea of this project. I think its a great opportunity for experienced players to share their knowledge with people new to the game.
I have filled out the Mentor Application Form, and am very interested in participating in a partnership to Mentor a new player. I also joined the ingame channel and made an account for the Mentor Project website. Please contact me if my mentoring is needed!
Thanks,
@SaraMC -

Hey base builders! So, this may have already been brought up, but when im editing my base, the list of items at the bottom of the screen all show up as white squares. So im not able to see the image of each item, just the name of it. Any idea on how to fix it. Im on a PC.
Thanks! -
Quote:This is true, however, i believe that if rent isnt paid for a long time, you can not even enter the SG base, until it is paid. So if your able to enter, this may not be the case. but i cant be 100% sure on this.It could be a matter of having your Rent paid up as well. If the Rent isn't paid you have no power and then can not access anything (I think.)
Im leaning toward the idea that you do not have enough power or control in your base. -
-
This came out great Stacker! Really, really nice work!
-
I like this a lot! I would just say that you should add a bit more lighting in some of the rooms perhaps? I like the idea NinjaPirate had for the flashing lights.
-
Hello, i need some help making the slow fields look like water in my base. They are hardly visible, any suggestions? Is there any type of flooring i should use to make it look like water. if you have screenshots that would be great too. I am trying to make it look like a pool. Thanks!
-
Im not sure if this question has been asked/answered already, though I did search the forums, but, is the City Scoop returning?
-
Yes, i have also seen railings in bases, and i believe you are thinking the lamp structure that Impish Kat mentioned.

Quote:Thanks! It did take a while to place all those desks, but adding second floors is a great use of space!Nice 2nd floor, cant imagine the pain to lay all those desks.....I am glad mine is arcane, they cover a wider area. That had to make your tired, plus sometimes the desks clip and its hard getting them placed just right without stacking on themselves.
nice work!
