Date & Time: Saturday, August 7 @ 10:30PM Eastern / 7:30PM Pacific

Level Range: 45-50

Villains: Rikti, Psychic Clockwork, Devouring Earth

Task Force Info & Stats:

  • This Task Force requires an 8-person team to start & I will set it to No Temp Powers (which includes Veteran Reward Powers) & 0 Defeats
  • 5 missions
  • Badge(s): Apocalyptic & Master of the Lady GreyTask Force for No Deaths/No Temp Powers (no guarantees :smirk: )
  • Merit Reward: 37
  • Vanguard Merits: Varies (requires the Member of Vanguard badge)
  • This TF is open to both Heroes & Villains
Mr E-Man’s MoLGTF Mission Notes:
  • General Instructions: Stick together & follow instructions. Always let the Tank grab aggro first – even before debuffs. Don't be shy to offer opinions/strategies.
  • Mission One: We will attempt to kill off Penelope.
  • Mission Two: If we have a Stealth/TPer, we will attempt to bypass some of the mobs & go straight to the Rider rooms.
  • Mission Three: Death to Glacia & Infernia and their incessant chattering.
  • Mission Four: Clear the Rikti & Pylons first. Tank/Brute taunts yellows (melee attacks only), then blue (ranged attacks only), then green (holds then attacks). Each is done one at a time - regrouping after each mito drops. Judicious use of EoEs by the tank/brute is recommended.
  • Mission Five: If we have a Stealth/TPer, we will head to the final room. Clear the back hallway. Puller will pull Hro'Dtohz to the hall corner. Then pull the Honoree after he spawns. A two man-team will destroy the generators while the rest of the group takes on the ambushes.

Hm. That's pretty much prime time for the server then. I don't get on 'til an hour or two later honestly, but weekends are more flexible. I wouldn't mind a go on a Saturday afternoon, schedule nonwithstanding, of course.

Sorry for no write-up yesterday...was busy.

Well, we did not get the Master of... badge this time around (once again). This time it was my scrapper dying with just a few green mitos remaining during the Hami mission...

I think Luna has the right idea & from now on, we will keep melee characters out of the green mito battle - they just draw too much Hami aggro.

Thats what happen to me last time too. Would Essence of the Earth help out for this phase?

When I did this before on Luna, yes it does help. But I think Mr E was using them Sat night and they were not enough. On Luna I kept popping MoG during that phase.
