Title: Trouble on Old Mac Donaldson's Farm
Global Name: @Taxibot Sara2.0
Mission Count: 8
Notes: A tale of Ailen Invasion on Old Mac's farm with 1 mandatory rescue and one that isn't. The AV will spawn as an EB if soloed on heroic
[/ QUOTE ]
First off silly lady Mission Count means number of missions in the arc (one mission in this case) not the number of plays it has. On to the review.
Lowdown This one mission arc has a pretty good concept for a humor arc, a farm invaded by aliens. I can think of a lot of humorous and funny things that can come out of it, but I feel what has been done so far is just a good starting point. The customs all look pretty good though I don't know where the farmer's wife shops at. The Rikti captive has a few good lines. The big bad was way tough even at difficulty 1.
Funny Level Knock Knock jokes
Fun Level - The car ride to the circus.
Lets up it to 11! Tone the AV down to an EB tops, Add some patrols with dialog. Add funny descriptions to the minions and Lts. Make the option release not optional.
Overall Rating There is nothing really wrong with this arc and it is so short you won't feel like you wasted your time, but it has little humor. I look forward to replaying this after it is reworked.

I've already played all your arcs, but if you'd like me to do so again in exchange foir your review I'll gladly do so again. "Blappy" was my fav out of the lot, by a hair, only because the story was so weird.
Title: A Voyage Fantastic
Arc ID: 81829
Creators Global Name: @Stalemate
Mission Count: 2
Notes: This arc has been revised a few times now to adapt to map errors, critter behavior, etc. It's still lacking the added immersion of renamed mobs (since it uses existing ingame mobs) but that shouldn't be too immersion breaking. It sits at just under 20% resource usage. While the last mission can be soloed successfully with some ATs, failure is taken into account as a likely game ending and end dialogues reflect that.

Rise of the Drakule has gone through a few revisions in the past for difficulty (not sure how long ago you played it), and in I15 it's getting a major overhaul.
[/ QUOTE ]
When I was re-playing it, I did feel that the I15 changes to power selections will be a blessing for the arc. I understand totally that you want to keep the vampire "feel" of the npcs powers and currently it is kinda limited as to what you can do in that area.
WN
[/ QUOTE ]
Just a quick mention of a couple of the bigger changes, Drakule's going to get more axe powers, but won't have Cleave. That's the huge hitter. He's getting whirling axe and the cone power, which I can't remember the name of, since as an AV I feel he shouldn't be ALL single target. His secondary is getting changed, so he won't have the heal power, which could be absolutely crippling for some teams when he spawns as an AV, and he won't have the stun aura or the stealth, as I've had reports of people not being able to see his model. I think it has something to do with graphics settings maybe? Whatever. He's losing it.
Spektyrs are going to have their dark blast worked so they get mainly control powers, i.e. dark pit, tentacles, and torrent instead of a bunch of damage powers. Those powers tend to not have -tohit anyhow. Drakule's brides and priestesses will FINALLY go back to Dark Miasma, as I can make them without darkest night, which is probably one of the most annoying powers to give to an enemy.
I've used this thread as a way to find fun arcs to play and have enjoyed some fun arcs. I even did the two shorter arcs of WNs last night......Trademark Infringement got a lot of "lols" in team chat. Unfortunately, I hadn't completely read OP in full detail about making sure and leaving comments.
But if you have any spare time, try:
Title: Coulrophobia (Fear of Clowns)
Arc ID: 1178
Creators Global Name: @Mental Maden
Mission Count: 5
Notes very difficulty sensitive. It can and has been solo'd but a team is recommended. If you want an easy ride don't bump the difficulty. If you want a challenge, crank it up.
Oh and it has mimes with caltrops!

Title: The Rise and Fall of the Radioactive Bikini Squad
Arc ID: 1928 (I think, if I'm wrong it's in my sig)
Creators Global Name: @Wyrm
Mission Count: 5
Notes Should be soloable. Has an extreme boss (not an EB) at the end, but there's a helper NPC available. I recommend level 40+ on it, because of some of the foes. Yes, there are Knives of Artemis, but only for one mission, and it's as short as I could reasonably make it.

Lowdown A big part of the humor in this arc comes from your contact and fortunately he is a hoot! The story is wacky and fun. I loved the custom Carnies. but wish they each had their own bio rather than the one custom one they all share. The leader's in several of the missions are standard "Raid Leader" types which is a little disappointing though they may be that way due to space limitations. Still, the humor is strong enough to not get hung up on the few short falls.
Funny Level Very Humorous
Fun Level - More fun than watching a great Tyra or Janice Disckenson rant on some model show!
Lets up it to 11! If possible customize all the bosses, tone down the rad powers, 3rd mish nav text is klutzy.
Overall Rating Definitively play this arc if you are looking for some silly fun and laughs.

Notes Arc thread is here.
I've had problems with my edits to the arc not posting for some reason to live. Mostly this has been a problem with Mission 4, where the critters are NOT supposed to be ALL Nictus (although there will be squiddies - so if you run on a HEAT, watch out). I repatched the mission last week.

Notes this arc has multiple scaling levels. 5-20, 20-29, 30-40, and 40-54. the why should be appearant as you play. what this means is that you need a toon that scales down and maybe up well. a mid 30s toon is usually best since it is usually not fully tweaked and still has a full complement of powers. one thing to note is that fire blasters seem to have an extreme weakness to the third mission boss, despite having allies. just a warning. otherwise, enjoy!
[/ QUOTE ]
Lowdown First off, this was a very good arc with one or two exceptions. 85% of the humor in this four mission arc is packed into the last mission. Up till then, while interesting, it was mildly amusing at best. The last mission does really make up for this with many funny situations (I really don't want to give anything away!).
Funny Level Mildly Amusing (1-3), Very Humorous (4)
Fun Level - Slow climb on a tall roller coaster follow by a wild ride.
Lets up it to 11! The last boss is over the top and almost ruined the last great mission. Small maps caused large clusters of baddies. Little Dream/Nightmares need tailored bios (a good place for more humor).
Overall Rating Humor is very uneven, but the arc is well done and well worth playing.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I've been wanting to go back and re-visit some of the custom mobs' descriptions, but you're right about the issue currently being space. I'm going to be updating when the new issue hits, and will definitely be using your suggestions when I do so!

thank you for playing my arc. truthfully this was not intended to be a humor arc, and i really still do not consider it one. i know it has huporous elements to it and that is why i submitted it to you. it just ended up humorous, more by accident than by design. that is probably why there is more humor in the last mission, because i packed it with so much stuff because it was the final mission.
the maps are a bit funny. they are all unique, obviously, but chosen for theme more rather than size. if i could have found a map that was more library-like but bigger i would have used it. the burning map used to be an outdoors map until they removed it unexpectedly. it took a couple of reviews, including venture's, before i realized that they were playing entirely the wrong map. they were all picked for their dreamlike qualities. i would love some ideas on map alternatives if you have any suggestions, because they do feel a bit crowded.

based on past feedback and experience i will hazard a guess that you ran with a scrapper? just curious. it actually used to be much worse, because there used to be bosses with confuse. so i removed those and toned the av down to hard/standard.

Yeah, the limited maps can paint you into a corner a bit. I found this with my Disco arc. The last mish is based on a historical event that took place at a baseball stadium, but the small park map was the "best available" The first map maybe cut down on the patrols? I was fighting the Librarian when two Lost bosses wandered in and got me. The Last room of the last map was loaded with captives. Maybe spread them out more?

Hiya WN.
I'm almost ready to publish The Auditionirector's Cut!
This thread will be perfect for it!
As soon as it's published i'll give you the head's up - It'll be in two separate 3-mission arcs, expanded somewhat since its first outing as a single 5-mission job.
I've played all your arcs, but quite a long time ago, and I think you've done some polishing on them since, so i'll play em all again anyway.
Good idea to do a thread focussing on the funnies out there!

Lowdown This arc features extremely creative uses of maps and standard characters. There are humor elements through out and the contact is, well, interesting in his take on the situation and you. During the second mission it was apparent that battles had been going on, but with what or why I have no clue since I only ever saw the victors. The big bad was a surprise, but I found the ambushes that arrived while I fought him a bit much.
Funny Level Mildly Humorous to Humorous
Fun Level - This arc was engaging and fun until the final battle (which involved 3 trips back through a huge map).
Lets up it to 11! Tone down the ambushes or make it a defeat the boss only, insert a few more humor based customs and some color into your briefings.
Overall Rating This arc is worth playing for it design alone and it is at least mildly humorous throughout.
