Interesting. Well, I would have tested anyway, so cool. I guess I'll just log on a bit more I CAN be bribed to test!
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
Out of curiousity, which is looked at more: in-game bug reports, or those filed via the proper threads on these forums? Or are they reviewed equally (seems to me in-game reports would be harder to sort through due to the larger number).
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
Well this strikes me odd. I don't want to test I15 the TF/ SF because I want to leave something to do when I15 goes Live, but now my future participation in potential closed beta my rest upon testing I15? I hope that purposefully not testing certain things won't detract from my previous testing and reporting efforts :/
Not what he's saying.
Participating in the current one will give you a BETTER chance to get into future ones, not the ONLY chance.
Darn now I HAVE to get a team together for those TF/SF

True, plus there's other stuff to test. But, meh, was looking to skip this round
I've been pretty busy during this Beta, so that limits my testing time. *sigh*
Oh well, I'll try to see if there's anything left to /bug whenever I get the chance to log on.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't log in to the test server for i15 yet because I didn't want to spoil anything for when it goes live....guess that will change

Eh, if the feedback and testing I've done in every beta/closed beta except i14, isn't enough to earn a spot then que sera, sera, thank you for the past opportunities and test server filled with auto leveled 50s. O-\-<]:
Well That's good to know, gonna have to get me on one of them SFs

To Build a Better Hero #53098 [Newly edited and looking for Feedback] - Renegade Robots: V-Tron's Task Force # - A Summer Song and A Winters Tail #104106
Thanks Ghost Falcon for the update. Can't wait to see what was changed
well ill file a /bug on this.
This is a great idea if the issue had more things to test then just this. This doesnt even seem like a issue and more like a update. Like some others have noted in this thread i would like to wait for these items whne they hit live because theres not much stuff in this update. I have been testing the new arena options and inputed on that though, but like i said this really feels more like a update then a issue.
/just my 2 influence
p.s. like earlier stated to i hope that my past reports dont count me out because i didnt participate in this issue's beta "fully"
To be honest, I rather not be a part of closed betas anymore.
In the Arena of Logic, I fight unarmed.
Wait, are you seriously complaining about them wanting you to actually test a beta so you can be in beta testing? You're upset about them saying that being included in future beta testing is partially influenced by beta testing you're already IN?
I...this...head exploding...
What do you think is expected of a beta tester? It's certainly not meant as a way to access content early, and by avoiding content that needs to be tested, you're not exactly fulfilling the role intended for a beta tester. It's like an aircraft pilot who refuses to fly.
I feel awful - I suck at testing!
I /bug what I see as I play but by the time I get to the forums to report in, it seems like everyone's already reported on the very same bug (and usually in much more succinct terms than I can put them in).
I'll keep trying but I won't be insulted if I'm ruled out of closed beta eventually as a result.

Dont feel bad, Every time I go to report something on the forums after I find it in game it is already here, so I dont bother with the forums when it comes to bugs anymore.
But I do /bug in game.
They aren't going to discount you from closed betas if you bug something that's already been bugged. More bug reports on the same bug allow them to collect more data points and probably make that bug easier to fix. Of course, if you're just spamming bug reports on things like "Hasten's graphics are ugly," then you probably won't be looked at kindly.

Well, Hasten's graphics are pretty ugly...

I stopped caring about what powers look like a long time ago. I'm more concerned about what they do than how they look.

Mac, you're not playing the game right! Looks are way more important than function!
Okay! I've finished sending out all my resumes and I've wrapped up all my extra-occupational projects for the season.
So now that I have some free time, I'd love to catch a medfly or two, but I don't want to waste anyone's time by repeating what others have already found and reported. I'll try to catch up with what's been reported already in the forums and hope I manage to step on something green and juicy.

Greetings Heroes and Villains!
We have received a lot of GREAT feedback from players, and want you to know that your comments do not go unnoticed. We recently made some changes to the Villain Strike Force in Issue 15 Anniversary, and will be making additional changes to the Hero Task Force next week. This was all due to player feedback, and we want to thank everyone for their input.
Please check the changes out on the Training Room, and let us know what you think!
In an effort to expand our pool of potential Closed Beta Testers, we are looking to find players who provide us constructive feedback (both in areas we got right as well as what needs to be improved) and detailed bug notifications during this Beta.
<ul type="square">[*]If you are interested in participating in future Closed Beta tests we encourage you to check out Issue 15 on the Training Room and post your feedback on the forums! [*]Players (in good standing) who are selected for the future Closed Beta Group will have Beta entry priority over all other players selected from our normal Beta selection methods.[/list]Remember, its your feedback which helps us create an experience that you enjoy. Take this opportunity to make your voice heard in the continuing development of City of Heroes!
