Issue 16 Title - Going Rogue....
City of Heroes: Pointless Thread
Maybe because there are a boatload of computer games called 'rogue' and 'going rogue' was a more distinctive brand and less litigious?

Issue 16: Pot Meet Kettle
1) When did Issue 16 become "Going Rogue"? We know it's the next paid expansion but when was it announced as Issue 16?
2) Lame is a rather relative term. Going Rogue seems rather appropriate for what we know about this expansion. I have no issue with the name. But then I could care less what they name issue, it's what's the issue that interests me.
City of Heroes: Too little; Too late?
I have others too:
Issue 15: Mediocrity
Issue 14: Indian Giver
Issue 13: True Lies
Issue 12: Age of Heroes
Well, City of Villains was Issue 6 and it wasn't "Issue 6: City of Villains" it was "Issue 6: Along Came a Spider", so even if Going Rogue is Issue 16, there's no guarantee its "Issue 16: Going Rogue".

@Silent Spy, Champion Server
I think it could have a better name than "Going Rogue", but I don't much care about the name. I care more that we're finally getting a boxed expansion. I've been asking for one for years.

City of Villains was released ALONG with I6, not AS I6. You did not have to buy City of Villains to participate in the I6 content (PvP zones, etc.)
So far all we know is that Going Rogue is just an expansion to City of Heroes and Villains and not an actual issue by itself. My guess is that it will do what City of Villains did and be released simultaneously with i16, but not AS i16.
if issue 16 isn't titled going rogue i'm canceling my subscription

Since when are all random websites on the Internet authoritative? "newzyouwant"? Seriously? Doesn't the z in there automatically mean that site is illegal anyway??

What? That was the website by which the anouncement was first released. The link he provided was from one of the buttons on the Press Release page.

Issue 14: Indian Giver

Wow
Any idea how racist that term is?
And historically incorrect?
Just asking.

I always read that phrase as being "One who gives TO Indians... because they always take it back". Of course, I started reading the phrase that way after I learned more about American history.

Native: You can use this land, sure no problem.
European: Sweet, free land.
(3 days later)
European: What are you doing on my land?
Native: Hunting.
European: You can't hunt here, this is mine, you said I could have it.
Native: Dude, totally not what we meant.
European: No backsies! (shoots native)
Not to mention the term "European Giver" could just as easily indicate someone who gives something to someone else in the hopes of infecting them with a lethal plague, and would be alot more accurate.

It's really from indian gift exchanges - which were practiced in Japan, Scandanavia and other cultures as well.
You gave a gift to someone and expected a gift in return. If they could not give you a gift, they were to give your gift back.
Just basing this off of common usage.
Just to put this thread back on track. Was it ever on track?

Anyone else think the title of this issue is just lame?
Why not just "City of Heroes: Rogue" or perhaps "City of Heroes: Shades of Grey"?
I'm sure there are a lot of creative writers out there, what other titles do you think would be more appropriate?
