Yes, there are at least 16 arena badges this issue, including one accolade:
Individual PVP badges
Accolade
There may also be a badge called "Contender" but I haven't found what would earn it. The Accolade is awarded by earning the five Victor badges shown in the first link.

Obivous deserved joke at the Devs' expense aside it appears that all of these lingering Arena badges have been redesigned in a "first time you win X type match" variety. At least people who are going to farm these will have them done almost instantly. *shrugs*
I suppose this is in keeping with the Devs' new badge vision of less "grindiness". While that might be nice on some level it makes me wonder if we're ever going to get a new non-trivial badge in this brave new world...

Oh come on, it adds so much more to pvp when everyone and their sister can do one match and be done, and will definitely resurrect pvp just like PVP IOs and i13 did.
And theres absolutely no way that this encourages win trading because certain archetypes are absolutely useless in pvp as it currently works.

I'm going to fight. With my Energy/Stone brute. It will be nice to use him again with his "improved" Energy Transfer, he's had no purpose in life since that fix.
The fact that it will be a team match and I ended up with no teammates doesn't mean I'm exploiting the arena system at all, nor is your whole team of 8 winners exploiting anything by beating him up in his moment of loneliness and mis-placed bravado.
