I have to apologize, my life has gone totally sideways recently. I'm still going to try to be in shape to make it, but I'm in a position where I might end up losing internet and I almost for certain won't be able to stay VIP. Stupid clients paying me stupidly late. So no VIP = no Alpha Incarnate = dead weight.

As I've had some recent difficulty getting online (I'm now poaching my neighbor's internet), I would gladly cede my spot to Neuronia...BUT. I'm going to the practices and building the character out regardless. Because you never know.

The good news: I got Demonic.

The bad news: Tonight, my time online is likely going to be spent trying to figure out what the Mako event is about on Champion, and my daytime time is going to be limited the rest of the week. I still think I should be able to hit 50 with Alpha within the week given how it's going so far.

Also, I just realized that I have a 50 DB/SR Scrapper that I could switch to Freedom and have no need to switch away from Freedom at any point, but it is not incarnate nor is it very well built. I haven't touched it in like...2 years, maybe more. It's not spectacular, but it's a better "worst case scenario" than stone/stone.

I made a kin melee/ice armor stalker on Freedom and am working on it as I can...I initially thought I'd be able to work on it a lot today but then my day totally fell through and I probably can't get on until late, if then.

I'd appreciate any advice on how to build it. I'm bad with the numbers part of the game, but could easily give it any enhancements necessary with the exception of purples or PVP IO's.

To add to DarkGob's post, I play on both Champion and Infinity and haven't had a serious problem getting people together on either. On Champion I need to usually wait for the peak hours (but not always), Infinity it's going on all day. I've been on Exalted at times before, and that always seems to have stuff forming too. So I also disagree with the thought of all but 2-3 servers being ghost towns. Yes, Freedom and Virtue are the two biggest, but there's a decent population on several others.

I can do that, but I level on the really really slow side. I'm no Bud.

If we're looking to need incarnates by Sep 2, then @Dark Epitaph is going to be a stone/stone brute. Because when I think PVP, I think "I'm going to slowly lumber around and punch things that I'm sure will enter into melee with me."

It's possible that my Thugs/Dark Mastermind will be available too, that'll be great because Gang War sometimes has a lag cannon effect on people. Our secret weapon.

In seriousness, the few times I've PVP'ed my stone/stone was not nearly as bad as I thought he would be. His player was atrocious, though. I look forward to just getting my feet wet in this and trying out PVP, and I'm glad that it won't be For Blood.

I have a variety of terrible characters and I couldn't PVP the broad side of a barn on a good day, but I'm interested.

I'll take all the credit for holding us back.

I am full villain, and am still missing Ironman, I'm just weirded out that I have six and the ingame tracker says 5.

Hello. I'm only recently getting back to leveling up some alts after first taking a long hiatus and secondly working on more than doubling my badge toon's count in the space of a few months, so now is the first time I've been faced with the new (lower) requirements for Born in Battle. I'm a little confused.

Since this alt has been inactive a really long time, I wasn't sure which of the badges he had. The badge tracker said he had 5 of 7, I knew he didn't have Ironman, and I knew he did have a few of the others, so I process of elimination assumed he was missing Triumphant. I went to Warburg, stood on the globe, and...no ding. So I checked. He had Triumphant and every other badge except Ironman, but the system shows 5 of 7...even odder, it lists that as 75%. Is it still looking for one of the old badges, as 6 of 8 would be 75%? Is this a known issue?

Hit me up if you still need it, I can run a tip for you.

Yes, thank you for running this, and thanks (and grats!) to all members of the team. I had an excellent time, as always, running around in Granite Armor and throwing large rocks at things...an even more excellent time when there's a great kin around and the mostest excellent time when teamed with other players of such great caliber that we didn't even seriously need to worry at any point about "almost" failing the Mastery badge.

It's funny, I need a bunch of the Mastery badges, but I have two of the three Neutrio needs. Maybe we need to organize a STF...er...a MLTF sometime soon for mastery.

I don't pretend that this is a typical experience, but my Mastermind got Efficiency Expert even after having failed one of the missions. Has anyone actually gotten declined on Efficiency Expert?

That was a brutal fail, too. I had problems with mapping the area because I was an idiot, and then the objective was in sight, I clicked on it, the bar was 90% full...then I got shot by a random patrol wandering through. Then fail. So near to pulling victory from the jaws of defeat.

I want to say I'll be here for this, but there's a good chance I won't be. My best friend is at an event in Detroit (about an hour from me) this weekend, and I don't see him but once every 2-3 years. However, we've already spent a lot on gas going down into there and I think he's leaving at some point on Sunday. Consider @Dark Epitaph to be a "hopefully" with a stone/stone brute that needs the badge.

While I like the idea in concept, I think it would work best to try to plan it into 1-2 hour blocks to go weekly. I've found that my attention span tops out around 2 hours, as does my ability to insulate myself from real life.

That said, I would gladly throw in when I'm available. I live on red side.
