I've always been a fan of Daft Punk ever since Homework. Some of the new Cyborg Booster options make for a great Daft Punk costume. My Brute has a tech theme, and one of his costume slots has the cyborg hat, cyborg visor (I think it's Cyborg 2?), and the cyborg jaw on top of the casual blazer. If you are a fan of theirs steal that costume idea, and enjoy!
When I play my '70's Black Lightening inspired MA/SR scrapper. I have the following as inspiration...
Curtis Mayfield "Superfly"
Bobby Womack "Across 110th Street"
Issac Hayes "Do Your Thing", and of course "Theme from Shaft"
Can ya dig it?
When I'm kicking a** the band thats usually playing is The Misfits
CD:Walk Among Us
Song(s): When I turned into a martian (not completely sure why with this one...); and Skulls, if not just for the quote "hackin heads off little girls, put 'em on my walls" - this ones obviously a preference when I'm playing my Brute
I just go to Pandora and type in Gorilla Biscuit or Disturbed and let it compile the songs as I woop a$$.
Monks of Pal'Sidae
Shockmare Lvl 50 E3
Elektra Knight Lvl 50 Dark/Elec/Psi

WOAH!
You busted out Christian music! Wehehellll!
In that spirit !
SCRAP TO THIS!
Bring the Heat - Disciple.
Slipknot - Pulse of the Maggots
"I fight for those who CAN'T fight, and if I lose, AT LEAST I TRIED!!"
That one is for my BS/DA and my DB/WP. They are both based on myself.
Disturbed - Indestructible
Indestructible
Determination that is incorruptible
From the other side, a terror to behold
Annihilation will be unavoidable
Every broken enemy will know
That their opponent had to be invincible
Take a last look around while you're alive
I'm an indestructible master of war
That one is my Claws/Regen namesake, it's been his theme song since the first time I heard it.
Metallica - Battery
The entire song applies. The perfect scrapper anthem.
This one is for ALL my scrappers.

I could offer some musical suggestions, but I don't have most of my music available right now (my old machine is in the shop, and it had my music ripped from CDs)... So all I have are specific songs I use for one character doing specific things, and... they're not in English, so... yeah.
Manowar
King of Kings.
"Crack the earth, Gods of thunder! Man and beast will be torn asunder! Into the fight I own the right, to be the king of kings!"
The sweet
Ballroom Blitz
"And the man in the back said everyone attack and it turned into a ballroom blitz."

Seriously? I just let pandora pick my music. Had no idea that song was considered 'Christian'
As for music to smash enemies by:
P.O.D.
Boom
"Boom! Here comes the Boom!
Ready or not, here comes the boys from the South
Boom! Here comes the Boom!
Ready or not, How you like me now?"
also
"Is that all you got?
I'll take your best shot.
(6x)
I'll take your best shot.(2x)"

I let Pandora do my music selection as well. I generally run around on my Scrapper listening to a channel I've got set up to play songs from Broadway musicals, but recently I've taken up to listening to my new Cantus channel. I assume you guys can now tell that I'm a fan movie action scene wherein the sounds effects are heavily muted and a peaceful piece of classical music plays while gunfire and other deadly bits are hurled about in a chaotic flurry.
Walk by Pantera is the single greateset butt stompin' song ever written.

"They've got us surrounded again, the poor bastards." - General Creighton W. Abrams
Thanks everyone for posting.
Although my music collection is quite vast, I'm always on the lookout for more selection.
My music tastes are much more broad than some. I love anything from metal to rap (and so much in between).
For anyone with large collections, just post a few examples - not asking you to catalog your collection here. =)
Anyway, I'm glad i'm not alone.. Listening to music while playing with the volume up is awesome.
Internet radio is something i've only dabbled at. I think it's time that I got into it and learned a thing or three about it.
take care all
Acidon
EDIT: fix some spelling and grammar (as bad as it is now, it was worse :P)
I'm a big fan of Five Finger Death Punch and All That Remains recently. Fast paced, hard, and heavy.
Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?
Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?
three of my favorite scrapper songs i listen to are
Dance with the Devil by Breaking Benjamin
Mortal Kombat by Stitchez
Rise by Origa
Another One Bites the Dust - Queen
Am I Evil? - Metallica (Am I Evil? *Lightning Rod/Shield Charge* Yes I Am)
I Stand Alone - Godsmack
Four Elements - Soulfly
Tree of Pain - Soulfly
Blind World - FlybangerSwan Dive - Hed PE
God's Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash
I Believe I Can Fly - Me First and the Gimme Gimmes
Do the Evolution - Pearl Jam
Although if I'm in a more contemplative mood, I might listen to something a little different, ie the most emotionally charged songs I've ever heard:
Angel's Son - Sevendust
Hurt - Johnny Cash
While My Guitar Gently Weeps - George Harrison
There`s just something extra visceral about the carnage when you`re at peace while doing it.
MY personal favorite...
I Need a Hero
Bonnie Tyler
"He's got to be quick, and he's got to be strong, and he's got to be up to the fight!"
I started on Infinity and listened to Split Infinity Radio frequently. THAT song was playing the first time my MA/Regen Scrapper ever took on Jurassik and it just fit the whole situation at that moment perfectly. I'm on Virtue now and listen to the Cape .. I have, on occasion, requested it just to relive old and great memories.
Were always the good guys. In D&D, were lawful good. In City of Heroes were the heroes. In Grand Theft Auto we pay the prostitutes promptly and never hit them with a bat. Leonard
Those women are prostitutes? You said they were raising money for stem cell research! Sheldon
*ahem*
Beer
Reel Big Fish
"I think I'll have myself a beer"
The most Scrappery song ever.
And shut up, because Pinnacle is not worthy.
Or...
Keasbey Nights (the real version
Streetlight Manifesto
"When they come for me I'll be sitting in my desk with a gun in my hand wearing a bulletproof vest, singing "my my my how the time does fly when you know you're gonna die by the end of the night"
Okay, maybe more for Blasters...
Hey guys (and gals),
If you enjoy music while playing like I do, I imagine you have some favorites that really get you in the carnage mood like I do.
I swear that some songs seem to be written just for scrapper/brute play-style. Here are a few notable ones from my tastes.. Just a few of many.
Please add any that you enjoy and feel that fit our style of play! I would love to add more to my collection.
My format will be:
-Band
-Song
-Notable quote from song
Drowning Pool
Bodies
"Let the bodies hit the floor"
--- Okay, this one is kinda obvious, but I still love this song.
Disturbd
Droppin Plates
"You said it couldn't be done, said it was the kind of battle that just couldn't be won"
--- Love this one when I'm defying the odds in a battle that should have left me face-planted. Or in normal solo situations when I imagine that I actually have skills and that my success is due to said skills.. Of course I wake up, but until then...
Disturbd
Meaning of Life
"Get Psycho" and "It's not enough, you hunger for more"
--- That's how it is with me, even jumping into mobs of mobs with little health because I don't want to stop.. It's a sickness, and from what i've read in the forums, I am not alone. =)
Hopefully that's enough to get this started (assuming anyone participates).
What gets you into your scrapper zone?
