I've had that happen to me. It made me quit the VG I was in and join a new one. The new one is much better.

Same here, that was speaking from experience, ended up quitting and sticking with my solo SG more.

Your supergroup quietly creates an organized team while you are asking in SGChat if there are any SG activities going on that you can participate in.

This is why I don't join big SGs anymore and stick with small ones run by myself or close friends. The bigger it is, the more cliquey it gets and you always see that one "A-Team" of people that is always together and doesn't want to invite you or anyone else. The larger and older the SG, the greater the chance that the newcomers will be the "B" or even "Z" team.
Fortunately, they can still find a use for your prestige.

Arc 64511 - The Wrecking Ball
Arc 1745 - The Trouble With Trimbles
Arc 302901 - HappyCorpse
Before reading this I didnt really think about my super group being fairly "non active" despite being a supposedly active SG...
Now I feel like maybe they hate me... = /
Oh! Oh! I know! I know! Pick me!
Okay.. here goes..
1) Every time you sign on the SG message tells you that you owe rent, but it's in influence and payable to every other SG member.
2) They specifically request you to never show your SG affiliation in your character title, oh and your bio too.. and by the way .. don't ever where our team colors.
3) They prefer if you wouldn't run in SG mode and when you do they refuse to spend any prestige you earn.
4) The base entry room has posters of you with large red X's through your face.
5) The base teleporter will only send you to the Shadow Shard... and you're only 3rd level... and it always ports you out in empty space.
6) The base hospital won't accept your kind of health insurance and it was the one provided by the SG.
7) The only reason you are in this SG in the first place was because they had last pick.
8) You overhear your SG leader trying to negotiate a trade of several million influence with another SG leader if they'll take you off their hands.
9) At the latest SG sponsored costume contest... you were the prize... and everyone refused to participate.
10) One of your SG mates created an AE mission that was instantly and incredibly popular within the SG.. and when you finally got around to playing it all the enemies looked like you.
11) When in team PvP your SG Mates tell you about a really neat new way to battle called "Snipe Hunting."
12) Your SG has a page on their web site that commemorates every screenshot ever captured of you dying in battle.
13) Said page on the SG website has more hits than YouTube.
14) Yours is the only SG the devs ever granted the "middle finger" emote to, but strangely it only works when you're around.
15) When you signed on to the SG in the first place the message that popped up in your chat window said that they had just lost 100,000 prestige.
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

Steelclaw always wins these. The funny is strong with that one.
Everyone quits and starts a new SG called 'No Prof_Backfires'. They have one Prof_Backfire, and claim they can't have more than that.
(so glad I have a solo SG)
Instead of using Assemble the Team, they Recall Friend all the team mates but you, one by one, to the next mission.
They change the name of your SG rank to "Litter Critter" and then promote everyone out of it but you.
They show a peculiar pattern of unstable connections right at the last AV of the taskforce, leaving you to try and take it on alone. You log in the next day to find they pulled together and finished while you were asleep.
They like to recast Grant Invisibility on you when you enter a room first.
You see a message in SG chat that was supposed to be sent to a global channel you've never heard of.
That message contains your name and the words "hate," "kick," or "let's see if we can get him to fall in love."
Whenever you are present, they treat you with a sufficiently sullen disposition that strongly implies they dislike you in some way, and that attitude is reinforced by negative actions taken against you, such that you are convinced you are not welcome. Zing!

That's a shame. Mind you, sticking with a small team is technically being "cliquey" without being challenged by having more than eight people around.
To get around established teams, we've encouraged people to develop their team leadership and recruiting skills, so that we can quickly split into 2-3 teams and all have good fun. It takes practice though, and you need to be patient with people that are learning to lead.

Haven't seen this anywhere, so here we go. Sometimes that bad vibe you get over the internet might be right, even in the absence of real body language and other face-to-face social interaction.
I'll start it off.
