I'm pretty sure we'll be running next week as well. I suspect several people will get to 49, but not quite to 50 this week. Usually there's one week of "let the slackers get to 50" before the next Isos starts.

Yeah, two or three weeks sounds about right.

I should be there, hopefully we'll have a good turnout.

Is there a reason the target level is 48 and we had a fair amount of people hitting 50 last week? It is possible to turn off xp, people. Run your own stuff if you want, but just turn off the xp if you're farther than everyone else. It's a bit silly for the whole group to be this far apart with all these options available to us.

Eh, not that big a deal, I know, but it's nicer to have people in the same range about.

Guide: Tanking, Wall of Fire Style (Updated for I19!), and the Four Rules of Tanking

It's like this, GP: some people are addicted to ITFs. They can't help themselves. They deserve our help, not our scorn. We must reach out to these unfortunate individuals and help them say NO to thrice-nightly ITF runs.

Here's the thing. Some people show up late. Some people leave early. Some people miss sessions. How does everyone stay together?

Basically those that are further along than everyone else are those that come on time and stay the entire allotment of time. No reason for those people to turn off xp because others are leaving early/showing up later.

I am half a bar from 50 with no ITF run. We made an attempt to get the team to run an ITF last week during session, but alas our team lead wouldn't fall for our bribes of candy and xp.

Hopefully there will be a group of people wanting to run an ITF or LGTF or LRSF tonight. It gives people an opportunity to all get merits instead of just the team lead getting merits plus those lucky enough to be on the same arc. None of those TF's take longer than the ISO time allotment. It does lock up X number of people, but if you get good leaders to run those TFs it doesn't lock those people up for any longer than a 4-5 standard mission arc.

Witness a sad ITF junky jonesing for their next "hit".

^That. I missed a couple meetings in the earlier levels and caught up on my own. The times I did show up I wasn't late, didn't leave early, and I'm at 49.

Same as Nancy, I missed/came late to a few sessions. I always made up the xp to get back to level range.

Honestly though, does anyone really care about omg you are 50 and I am only 48!!! I thought the point of this exercise was to play with fun people, meet new people, and run content on largely compentent teams? I can see why if people were spread out over a 15 level range it would cause issues but a 3-5 level range, heck just LK up/Mal down or just play smarter if everything is +4 to you.

I think people are taking this "no cheating" thing way to serious, I doubt even (hewhomustnotbenamed) laughs a little when people go on a tirade about "cheating/cheaters".

I will be there tonight, but im bringing a lvl 1 and I expect to be 50 by the end of the night. If not you are all a bunch of cheating cheaters ripping me off of my well deserved XP.

Masque- I applaud your dedication and wish you well on your trip from 1 to 50 tonight.

However, the team I'm on will be doing the ITF over in Cimerora, so no sub 35's need apply.

My /kin needs to do this before i16 rolls out for two reasons. The nerf to fs on trollers/corruptors and the nerf to the merit reward. ( Special thanks to all you itf speedsters..wait!, what? ; P )

Thanks Flux!

You know we don't run speed itfs anymore right? I think the last itf I was on took just under 2 hours. Plus the "nerf" is from 28 to 26!?!?

I looked over the that list of merit changes looks like its finally time to work out a speed Dr. Q team. Actually, story arcs maybe the way to go, for more then one reason.

See you all tonight.

Bah! I guess I'm going to have to work on letting people know when I'm joking.. : (

As far as speeding TF/SFs, I couldn't possibly care less if folks do or don't. I've been on a fair number of sub 1 hour ITFs where speed wasn't even the objective. It just happened and this was with clearing the ambushes in the 2nd mission.

*blinks* Yikes, some people are getting a tad defensive. The point of having a level range is to keep the teaming easier and possible to put together. Depending on the level ranges, it can make the fighting more difficult, make SKs not possible, and forming teams harder. It's not huge, but it DOES help some, and maintain the idea of this being a once a week group... otherwise, it just tosses the concept to the four winds.

Sure, sometimes people leave early or miss, and they have to catch up. No worries, it happens (and obviously, I am one of those that needs to catch up fairly often). And if you're playing longer and past where most people in the group are, is it really that big a deal to turn off xp and get more influence? Seriously, you'd think I was telling people to not have fun or something. If you're still planning on playing the last couple weeks of Isos, too, it's the same as having turned off your xp for those times you were higher. And if you're planning on not coming because you're at 50... that kind of proves my point.

Anyway, there is a logic to having a level range, and it's not that hard to stick with, is it? I didn't realize it was seen as some kind of draconian policy to, well, play with the group you signed up with, you know? Not sure how a question about group unity turned into me somehow being selfish, either.

I subscribed to the announcement section. I get one important post at least *shrug*

I would have posted this in the that one/two thread that "mysteriously" disappeared the other day.....

With the badge changes, my badger will have every badge except all the day jobs, with little/minimal farming. It made me very happy when I saw those changes.

Dev and Community Digest are now back and have their own separate sections in the forums. Yay! Figured people would want to know after comments here and in-game. BAB is a bug tracking fool with I16, I love it.
